I wish it weren’t the case, but the paintings are terrible.

“So this is what it takes to get his name back in the media, not in a negative way?”

Maybe it is a cleaver way to soften the media to the idea to Jeb Bush and 2016.

Sorry. It is a fact that W’s playing pattycake with zero on the TARP matter, as well as McCain throwing the election, has landed you with an islamic/communist dictator - and you’re still pathetically licking the whip.

“Thank you sir, may I have another?” seems to be the order of the day.

“How did the emails get hacked? “

I think it was a family member’s email that got hacked, but it is still quite a breach of privacy.

Nevertheless the paintings are OK, even a little “edgy” what with the whole self portrait while bathing thing going on. I mean, that’s different!

And really, he captures himself quite well. I’d like to see what else he’s done. Maybe someone can get up a gallery show or something.

Somewhat of an art snob myself, but I just don't see it. Man's approaching 70, and paints like a good HS student.

Not awful, but any commerical value would be attached to the name, and not the merit of the art.

No, I agree. It is a bit high schoolish, but there are elements that just nudge it above that. For someone who (as I understand) is just picking this up, it’s not bad. There is some “flatness” that makes it mediocre. Anyway...

I've seen that face in the mirror somewhere before.

You are spot on! LOL

The subject matter is most curious. I'll have to reserve judgement, until I see what his paintings look like on velvet.
