Manhunt for ex-soldier who shot police chief's daughter and killed policeman (SEND IN THE DRONES)

Police plan to use spy drones in the hunt for a Rambo-style ex-soldier and policeman who has murdered three people and vowed to kill again.

They believe burly, heavily-armed Christopher Dorner is holed-up in the wilderness of California’s snow-capped San Bernardino mountains 80 miles east of Los Angeles.

The burnt-out shell of his pick-up truck was discovered in the nearby resort of Big Bear, where residents and tourists have been warned to stay indoors as the search continues.

Yesterday, as a task force of 125 officers, some riding Snowcats in the rugged terrain, continued their search, it was revealed that Dorner has become the first human target for remotely-controlled airborne drones on US soil.

A senior police source said: “The thermal imaging cameras the drones use may be our only hope of finding him. On the ground, it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack.”

If he’s been planning this for any period of time, he could have caches buried all over So Cal. He may be changing weapons and calibers along the way.

He’s in LA in some mosque, and later he’ll strike again.

I never thought about that. Makes sense, Islam recruits most Americans in our prisons. Criminals are criminals whether they are locked up or not. Of course there were a few Americans who were NOT recruited in prison..

I hope they don’t start firing Hellfires at innocent people

They've shot up at least two vehicles that I've read about, with innocent people inside.
What's to stop them from using armed drones? (which is why they should not be allowed to have them!)

The LAPD has gone completely bonkers....

I think the smart man who wanted to throw off people searching for him would pick a place where he could make it look like his vehicle became disabled unintentionally.

It would not be too hard to set such a thing up. Then drive away from the damaged vehicle after leaving several items of value inside to make it look as though you had to leave the stuff because you could only carry so much.

Wouldn’t need to be an Einstein to figure out this sort of a ploy.

He’s being warm, dry, and well-fed, sheltered by the Nation of Islam

Not sure if he's being sheltered by Nation of Islam, but he's definitely being sheltered by someone.

“Ex-soldier” my @$$. He was in the Navy and then the LAPD.
= = = = = = = = = = = = =
True BUT if the data they ‘shared’ with us inre his Navy life is true, it seems that he was in a SEALs ‘transport’ unit, so he probably did go through Evasive Training and Survival School, and if correct about transporting “SEALs” probably had some training with them also.

It is just interesting to see how someone with a ‘little’ combat style training and police background (four years ago!!) is ‘outsmarting’ these ‘elite police teams’.
These people who think it will be a lark to come take OUR guns away may be changing their tune a little bit.
Which good be just a BAD as good......

The burnt-out truck was a diversion.

Exactly. That's why he's back in LA and being sheltered by someone who drove him back after he torched the truck.

Considering many on the left consider this guy their hero, I wouldnt be surprised if one of them is helping Dorner hide out

So, he also purposely fouled the prop with a mooring line on the boat he started to take from the marina - another clever feint?
