The pic is the character “death” from family guy. The reference was from a season one episode where Peter faked his own death, and death showed up to take him into the beyond. One of the subplots was that death really liked this girl but was too shy to ask her out, and Peter succeeds in setting them up, in return he is allowed to live. In the final scene death and the girl are out to dinner, and the girl turns out to be a very chatty liberal. Her final words are “But You Can’t Hug Your Children With Nuclear Arms”, at which point, bored and exasperated, death simply touches her with his bony finger and she collapses dead on the table.

Aye. I know many many people on FR do not get the pop-culture references, but many many also include them in kind of a little game to see how many people recognize them. I am guilty of doing that quite a bit. Animal House references seem to be the most common in the FR community.
