Out of all of the things they do, it’s always the ones that take away Liberty that they are so eager to slam through ASAP.

Funny how that works.

In a democracy, laws are bits of freedom that we give up voluntarily for the common good - stop signs, for instance.

But any time our elected "representatives" race to take rights away, it's no longer a democracy, it's a dictatorship.

The right to bear arms isn't arbitrary - it's fundamental to our equality in this nation. When only the elites and the uniformed have weapons, we aren't part of our own government anymore. We're just another third world dictatorship.

I used to think that Christie would have defended the people but he's just another statist Democrat after all.
