Ousted Florida Republican

Ousted is the key word here. Good riddens to bad rubbish. (FYI If this guy were a democrat, he'd probably be running for president in 2016 with a great resume like this.)

He probably won’t get much time, he is taking a fall to keep
Charlie Crist out of the spotlight.

Wonder how much the GOP gave him to plead guilty? Greer had the goods on a number of top GOP including Marco Rubio....who had been doing similar things w his GOP Credit Card

The Florida GOP is quite corrupt....so Greer “taking one for the team” would be no surprise

Deposition in Jim Greer case contradicts Charlie Crist

Florida’s attorney general released a deposition that contradicts a sworn statement by former Gov. Charlie Crist, who said that he did not know that then-Florida GOP Chairman Jim Greer would be paid extra to raise funds for the party.

That disclosure comes just days before Greer stands trial in Orlando, charged with six crimes: fraud, money laundering and four counts of grand theft. He’s accused of funneling $125,000 in state party funds into his personal bank account.

During the lunch hour Florida’s attorney general’s released the deposition of powerful Tallahassee lobbyist Brian Ballard, a confidante of Crist and one of the major fund-raisers in Crist’s 2006 campaign for governor.

James Greer (born 8 June 1962) is an American politician, serving from 2006 to 2010 as the Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida. Previously, Greer served as Deputy Mayor of Oviedo, Fla., worked as a lobbyist in Tallahassee for the restaurant and bar industry, and ran a company called Regulatory Compliance Services Inc.

Closely associated with Florida Governor Charlie Crist, Greer was removed from his office as Chairman and other positions within the state party following a number of controversies involving party finances and personal spending behavior.

Greer was arrested on 2 June 2010 after being indicted on six felony charges: organized scheme to defraud, money laundering, and four counts of grand theft Prosecutors alleged that Greer, while chair of the Florida GOP, schemed to take money, over $100,000 from the party through a fundraising company he created, Victory Strategies LLC, and then used the money for his personal expenses. Orlando Sentinel further noted that, "The contract for Victory Strategies to take over major donor fundraising was withheld from top GOP finance officials."

“Remember this gop leader was all in for Crist.”

As I remember this, the term “all in” was not just a figure of speech...
