Seems to require a subscription or account to access article. Says ‘hope you have enjoyed your complimentary access’, but I have never been there.

If you have been to other Gannett subsidiaries, they probably have made note of your internet protocol address. The NY Times let's you have 10 free articles a month if you don't know how to get around the way the Times blocks further access.

Makes perfect sense to me. After all there are other federal laws they are not “permitted” to enforce, why should these federal edicts be any different?

Still OK on the other Gannetts. Only once did I ever trip the NYT counter — that was during Sandy month. Think I did see most of this article.

I would love to see that argued in court. The feds can’t have it both ways. We will then get to see what is more important to them, gun control or amnesty.
