Bowing to the culinary fascism of the Left is nothing of which to be proud.

I’m really starting to dislike this clown. He talks about his goals as they’re naturally the goals of all.

We’ve already seen what a disaster that kind of thinking can be with California emissions standards imposed on cars nationwide.

Eliminating salt will lower the cost of production. Will we see a price cut for the products?

So do the changes only affect New York, or is New York getting to dictate to the rest of us through this? Does Bloomberg the evil tyrant think he runs the whole country though the backdoor? He tried this with the gun lawsuits also.

How the hell did new yorkers ever get a reputation for being tough? Biggest pussies on the planet, letting themselves be pushed around by some effeminate political hack.

These companies should have upped the salt, stopped shipping to distributors that service NYC and let bloomberg deal paying to fight the black market that would spring up.

Eliminating salt will lower the cost of production.

Actually, no. Companies put salt and sugar into their foods for flavor. The cheap ingredients would taste like cardboard without the flavor enhancers.

Are you old enough to remember when unleaded gasoline came on the scene? Lead was an additive, not adding lead should have made the product cheaper right? Not so, when both were available, unleaded was more expensive.

So does this mean only for the NY market or are they foisting it upon all of us? (Proudly posting without reading the article since 2001)

It’s the chloride ions, not the ‘low on sodium’, right?

See #10.

Holding taste or octane constant is more expensive without a "magic" (cheaper, very effective)) ingredient in the mix.

Heh. And a good way to cut out some marginal costs and blame it on "health".
