(Seoul, Yonhap News) Noh Jae-hyun

N. Korea's (state news agency) KCNA reported that it successfully conducted the third underground nuclear test.

It reported, "Our defense science sector successfully conducted the third underground nuclear test on Feb. 12 at the underground test site in the northern part of the country. Unlike previous tests, a smaller and lighter bomb with bigger yield was used. The test was done at the high level of safety and perfection. It was confirmed that the test did not have any negative impact on surrounding environment.

Another report from Yonhap News:

Tremors were felt for about a minute in Hunchun, Jilin Province, China, which is approximately 127 miles from the test site. No damage was reported, though.

North Korea says its nuclear test was its “first response” to U.S. threats and warns it will continue with unspecified “second and third measures of greater intensity” if the United States maintains its hostility.

A second nuke test?

The second one at the least, followed by another rocket(ICBM) test. Eventually they want to demonstrate that they have both the long-range rocket and a miniaturized nuke to be mounted on it. Ergo, a nuclear ICBM.

According to new report by Yonhap News, China urges other countries for calm response to NK test. The “calm response” has become a code phrase which essentially means that they will give it a pass and so should everybody else.

He’ll probably turn the club face in a little more.

Thanks for the info.

The earlier translation I heard was:

“Kim Jong-Un is so ronery. His Daddy was so ronery too!”

I stand corrected. Thanks again!

The last two are the only ones who know how to play ball, IMO. We should be cunning as well, or we risk losing it all.
