Skip to comments.Ted Nugent: ‘I Will Remain Respectful’ at Obama Speech
Posted on 02/12/2013 3:55:19 PM PST by llevrok
Mr. Nugent, who said last year that Mr. Obamas re-election would destroy America, was invited to the annual address to Congress by Rep. Steve Stockman (R., Texas), who said Mr. Nugent would have a lot to say after the speech. Mr. Nugent will be sharing the gallery with hundreds of other guests, including some two dozen people who have been shot or lost relatives to gun violence and are rooting for Mr. Obama to follow through on a gun-control agenda.
I will remain respectful in the decorum department, but I know what self-evident truths are and I know what the right to keep bear arms means, Mr. Nugent told a pair of reporters. I represent working hard, playing hard, logical, productive Americans who own lots of guns, lots of ammo and were an asset to our neighborhoods and our family and this country and for our rights to be infringed is real counterproductive. I expected no less of him. Unlike the jug-eared liar Uncle Ted understands the importance of respect.
I never expected him to be anything but respectful.
That said, I wouldn’t be too upset if someone let Clown Pink in like they used to do when Bush was President.
Uncle Ted should remain respectful of the office, but not the person or policy. There is a difference.
Haha. I can’t believe Stockman invited him. Way to stick it to Obama. Nugent is a class act.
Good for him. Don’t give fodder to the left. Be better than them.
Counterproductive? How about UNCONSTITUTIONAL?
He will probably be vomiting bile into his mouth the whole time.
I wouldn’t mind if he drowned out the speech with this:
Heck...I would have brought a harmonica and whipped it out...
And he'll be proved right. It would take generations to repair the fiscal damage from his first 4 years. We may never recover from another 4. The U.S. will become a calorie economy rather than a cash economy, because food will be as precious a couple of years from now as gold is today.
Well stated. Our future, succinctly said in 4 sentences. Good Lord in heaven I hope you are wrong but I just have this sinking feeling that basic food, water, shelter etc are going to be hard to come by in the near future...
Uncle Ted will be surrounded by Secret Service ready to take him down in a nanosecond if he acts out.
They got it down to a nanosecond now? Technology makes constant progress when we’re not looking!
More likely they are ready to high five him.
OK....OK....”When free speech counts, the Secret Service is only seconds away.”
Respect is earned.
Good. I want him to remain respectful — of the Constitution and the free people of the United States of America. That requires, demands, that he give that jug-eared communist POS muslim chimpanzee the effing bird, two inches from his ugly America-hating Kenyan face.
