Colorado County Resolves to Up Hold the 2nd Amendment

Colorado – -(Ammoland.com)- Mesa County Colorado has passed a far sweeping resolution concerning protecting and following and supporting the 2nd amendment of the United States.

MESA COUNTY RESOLUTION NO. MCM 2013-009

A RESOLUTION TO PRESERVE AND DEFEND THE SECOND AMENDMENT OF THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MESA COUNTY, COLORADO

WHEREAS, the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America states that “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”; and

WHEREAS, the Supreme Court of the United States in two recent cases, District of Columbia v. Heller and McDonald v. Chicago, has held that the right to keep and bear arms is an individual right; and

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Mesa County, Colorado desires to adopt a formal Resolution to preserve and defend the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution.

This is great news. I hope that it is followed up by the Denver and Boulder Democrats getting their new gun grabbing Bills beat down.
