This is murder and very wrong.

Law enforcement as a whole is out of control. This country has gone to hell.

Look, he heard it as it happened. The LE killed the guy and they have sunk to his level. He was surrounded and they were too chicken-hearted to arrest him.

Dohner was a steroid crazed killer who deserved to die.

Dorner was a citizen of these United States, accused of a crime. He, like all citizens of these United States (including you) deserved his day in court. Police are not judges or juries. We have those for a reason, and we throw them away at our own peril.

A real citizen of these United States would understand this.

You are a citizen of these United States, right?

If you aren't, STFU and GTFOOMC!

“Technically, that would be an AR-10.”

Yep. I doubt that the accuracy statement was correct either </sarc> Eagle arms makes a target model AR-10 that will group under .75” at 100 meters, which is pretty impressive. My carefully rebuilt FN FAL gives up 1.5” and I am tickled with that in a 50+ year old rifle.

Fortunately we have States that push back against unlawful tyranny instead of accepting
a one-law-fits-all from the Feds. Then unfortunately there are States who would implement
any confiscation of our 2nd Amendment rights making the 1st an easy target.
Each Amendment supports the other which is why they are 1st and 2nd.

So the Fish & Wildlife guys did what the LAPD could not do.

Not True on the Cost. On DPMS.COM the difference is $50.00.
I opted for a 308LR and it is great to have the extra power at a marginal cost difference.

This has gotta be embarassing for the LAPD.
The LAPD couldnt take him down, but a bunch of Fish and Wildlife Game Wardens did.

He shot and killed a man during the “negotiations”. At what point do you cut your losses? Let him keep killing because
he has “rights”? I think he surrendered those rights during
the firefight, if not before.

Point being, the institution of “law enforcement” attracts the dorners of the world. The LAPD violently turned on the people they purportedly claim to be protecting because they drove pick up trucks. It looks like the same care for any other potential hostages was taken into consideration when the cops set that cabin on fire. When these people aren’t shooting and killing anyone who gets in their way, they will blindly follow whatever orders are given to them.

They shouldn't even bother to get close. Next time, just call in an airstrike from a DHS drone. Or an F-16.

I don’t know if California has a wild hog problem, but in many southern states, wildlife officers are being equipped with .308 ARs for wild hog control.

That being said, I never believe the media on anything gun related. They will get the simplest facts wrong almost every time.

I think he assumed room temperature. And for a while, that room temperature was pretty HOT. Just getting ready for his next home, and I hope it’s HOT there too.

I handled a .308 on an AR frame yesterday and it weighed almost 11 pounds. It is supposed to have less than an 1"MOA at 300 yards. It handled well. It was $1500 for the base alone without any add ons. What kept me from it was that I couldn't interchange my M1A magazines with it and would have to purchase a complete new inventory of magazines.

Remember Game Wardens chase people and bad guys where it is almost 100% that the ones they are chasing are armed. It was the local game wardens that found the POS that kidnapped the two young girls in Mississippi.

We believe so.,,,he hijacked the white pickup,....and was near the cabin where the shootout with the San Bernadino Sheriffs occurred,...killing one and wounding a second.

Cabin burned to the ground and no one was believed to have escaped although he did try.....

In the Central Coast we do have a hog problemo. However, LEO prefers black weapons, like the rest of us.

They can’t tell me they go to Toys r us and don’t buy some toys just for themselves.

Heck, i sometimes buy a toy from the “Spy” line.

I don’t have a compelling need to buy a black weaoon but for the gubmint telling me I can’t fancy up my weapons.

Luv my M1A’s and Garand’s. In fact, I’m looking to get a few more and junk them up as AR’s.

Found a guy that refurbs Garands and stands behind them 100% fir any reason. He just luvs em and his proud of hus work.

He refurbs all of em for $1200-1600. Thats way better than cmp and an affordable price poing to take an absolutely deoendable .308 and shorten the thing by some 12” and give it the badazz look for anither $1,000.

Gonna buy 5-6 in the couple of months and put makeup on a couple.....fer the fun of it.

This sort of thing could be prevented were the government to outlaw high capacity engine blocks.

Forgot....they prefer 223/556 cuz dat whutz duh miltaries gotz.

Me....I like heavy rounds and if it were feasable to carry .46, .50 or higher I’d have them.

If you gotta blow something or someone away why make the job hard.

I listened to the gun fight between Dorner and the two LEO’s yesterday and counted between them some 60 shots.

60 rounds!!! Between a guy who is at least a marksman and two men who, presumably, qualify for at keast the minimum qualification, which getting at least 70% of their rounds in the black...anywhere in the black.

Blech! That’s some layzee shootin that is mace worse under fire.

If you’re gonna shoot someone use the heaviest round you can and put bigger hole in your target or at least tear off a limb if you have defend yerself.

Live a little...

LOL, yes indeed I do remember. I spent my youth in rural Arkansas where year rind hunting was a way of life and “hunting seasons” we’re an alien thought. Live in Texas now where hunting is considerably different to the lack of public land. Btw, did you know that in both Arkansas and Texas Game Wardens are the only Law Officers who don’t need a warrant to come on your property. It’s probably the same in most states but can’t say for sure. I could tell you some good Game Warden stories but too lazy :)
