Obama Seeks 29 New Programs: ‘Nothing I’m Proposing Should Increase Deficit by Single Dime’ February 13, 2013 By Terence P. Jeffrey

(CNSNews.com) - President Barack Obama said in his State of the Union Address on Tuesday night that nothing he was proposing in the speech would “increase our deficit by a single dime.” He then proposed at least 29 new government programs.

“Tonight, I’ll lay out additional proposals that are fully paid for and fully consistent with the budget framework both parties agreed to just 18 months ago,” said Obama. “Let me repeat: Nothing I’m proposing tonight should increase our deficit by a single dime.”

n fiscal year 2008, the year before Obama took office, federal spending was $2.98 trillion, according to the White House Office of Management and Budget. In fiscal 2013, the current year, OMB estimates federal spending will be $3.80 trillion--an increase of 27.5 percent.

And you know the writers of that line spend hours making sure it sounded factual..but there was a big CYA in it...sad truth..but they hide behind words

Not a single dime, that’s absolutely true.

Those programs will cost an entire mountain of dimes.

A stack of dimes reaching from Washington, D.C. to Pluto.

You know he’s got a problem when one of his MSM butt-buddies says,
“Whoa! Let’s do a fact check ... “
http://news.msn.com/politics/factchecking-obama%E2%80%99s-state-of-the-union

“The president claimed that “both parties have worked together to reduce the deficit by more than $2.5 trillion.” But that’s only an estimate of deficit reduction through fiscal year 2022, and it would be lower if the White House used a different starting point.”

“Obama touted the growth of 500,000 manufacturing jobs over the past three years, but there has been a net loss of 600,000 manufacturing jobs since he took office. The recent growth also has stalled since July 2012.”

“He claimed that “we have doubled the distance our cars will go on a gallon of gas.” Actual mileage is improving, but Obama’s “doubled” claim refers to a desired miles-per-gallon average for model year 2025.”

“Obama said the Affordable Care Act “is helping to slow the growth of health care costs.” It may be helping, but the slower growth for health care spending began in 2009, before the law was enacted, and is due at least partly to the down economy.”

And keep in mind that this remonstrance is from the enemy.

Definition of FRAUD
1. a: deceit, trickery; specifically: intentional perversion of truth in order to induce another to part with something of value or to surrender a legal right
b: an act of deceiving or misrepresenting : trick
2. a: a person who is not what he or she pretends to be: impostor; also : one who defrauds : cheat
b: one that is not what it seems or is represented to be

Quod erat demonstrandum

So I didn’t watch it either. I have a problem sitting still knowing that I will be listening to a lying liar lying to me through his lying teeth.
Apparently the GOP-e in attendance had no problem with it, as I understand they rose en masse and beat their flippers together like trained sea lions.

Gee it must be the fault of Congress and those wascally Repubes. Perhaps it was the eveil Bush that caused all this spending, and our poor young black President really really has his hands full trying to reverse the drunken sailor spending of those Bush years.

For the first eight years of his kingdom, he will never admit the deficit is his problem, the media will agree with him on everything, and then in his third term for a change-up he will start blaming the citizens for the deficit since there were the ones demanding all this spending.

ANY way you look at it, We don’t have a spending problem, we have a ‘paying for’ problem. At least that is the RAT propaganda for this week.

Hussein “You Lie” Obama made one point perfectly clear last night when he read President Valery Jarrett’s 2013 State of the Union teleprompter speech.

That point was made in the sentence: “ It all works better when we work together.”

What the sentence REALLY means is: ‘It all works better when YOU do things MY way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’

Now you’ve got me started.

Roughly speaking, a cubic foot of dimes is about $4500.

A cubic mile of dimes is about $32 million.

So, $1 trillion in dimes would be about 30 million cubic miles.

A conical mountain 100 miles in diameter and 10 miles high would be about 26,000 cubic miles.

So $1 trillion in dimes would be about 1200 mountains of this size.

So, my guess was wrong, too. I guess I should have said “mountain range” instead of “mountain”.

Yep. Not a single dime. He also said we’d keep the freedom to keep our own Doctors and choose our treatments. IOW, every word he says is a lie, including the words “and” and “the.”

Arrgh, bad math correction:

$1 trillion in dimes is about 660 cubic miles.

So, a conical mountain 20 miles in diameter and 6 miles high would be about right.

Still wrong.

$1 trillion in dimes is about 222,000,000 cubic feet.

That’s .002 cubic mile.

I fail math once again. I give up.

6 miles high, eh?
Mt Everest, the highest mountain, is only about 5.5 miles above sea level...

A trillion dollars in dimes would actually probably rival the mass of the earth.

Just guessing here, but I suspect you're off a mite...

A dime weighs 2.268 grams (Ref: usmint.gov), a dollars worth is 2.268 x 101

A trillion dollars is $1 x 1012

A trillion dollars in dimes would weigh $1 x 1012 x 2.268 x 101 or 2.268 x 1013 grams

That would be 2.268 x 1013 / 103 grams per kilograms or 2,268 x 1010 kilograms

The mass of the earth is 5.97219 x 1024 kilograms (Ref: Terrestrial Planets by Nicholas Hughes)

To find out how far we are off lets start by equating the mass of a trillion dollars in dimes with that of the earth
2,268 x 1010 = 5.97219 x 1024

Clearly not equal, lets add a factor R to the left side of the equation and divide thru by the mass of trillion dollars in dimes. Where R is the number of trillions needed to equal the mass of the earth.

R = 5.97219 x 1024 / 2,268 x 1010 or

R = 2.633 x 1014 which is 263.3 trillion trillion dollars in dimes to equal the mass of the earth.

$263,300,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.00
In dimes please.

That amount of money is beyond even the anointed ones imagining. To arrive at that much "stash", the entire planet, core, oceans, and all would, of needs be 90% silver (if we were still minting real money)

Regards,
GtG

PS I haven't had this much fun since "slide rule" class!
