CNN treated Marco Rubio reaching for a sip of water like he'd fumbled the ball away in the last seconds of the Super Bowl.
"Social media is all about this," joked CNN's Chris Cuomo, as he reenacted Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) reaching for a water bottle during the February 12 CNN commentary on President Obama's State of the Union address.
CNN then cut to a video of Rubio drinking water during his response to the President's speech. The whole scene played out like commentary from a football game, complete with instant replay of the "blunder."

Yep. That’s it...they’ve picked their target and are now freezing it. Rubio’s toast - according to their playbook - with this gift of the water bottle grab. Too bad the ridiculousness and irony of this won’t be understood by the low info voters.

Sounds like the kids over at the sophomoric CNN think someone getting a drink of water is funny. I wonder what they drink.

At least they have their priorities straight-a drink of water vs Benghazi. Aren’t they the loyal little lackies.

The difference is Dirksen didn’t act like he was sneaking the drink. He maintained his poise and self-confidence, whereas Rubio acted self-concious and came across as if he were sneaking a drink.
One displayed the poised confidence of leadership, the other did not.
Makes a difference.

Sometimes I reckon CNN wished Obama was a republican as he would be a bountiful subject for their mockery, being the pretentious jackass fool he is.
Instead, CNN has to queue up with the rest of the lame stream media to lick Obama's boots when he steps in it.

They can’t bother to fact check the President but they can run this story?
Rubio must really scare the Democrats.
