It's time for the State of the Union address, which means the president is pivoting back to jobs once more. It's an annual game where President Obama pretends to be focused on employment and many in the media pretend to believe him.
Back in 2009, the president promised never to "rest" until the job situation was fixed. Nearly four years later, he's done a lot of resting.
According to The Weekly Standard, Pres. Obama has had 83 vacation days overall and Factcheck.org says he took 26 of those in 2009. That means the president has taken at least 57 vacation days since his vow not to "rest."
On Sept. 15, 2009, Obama spoke to General Motors plant employees in Warren, Ohio, about the "economic crisis." That's when the president made his promise. "But I want you all to know, I will not rest until anybody who's looking for a job can find one -- and I'm not talking about just any job, but good jobs that give every American decent wages and decent benefits and a fair shot at the American Dream," he told an applauding crowd. Obama has made the same promise (either as "I" or "we") since then, but that was the first evidence of his promise.

He’s not resting!! He’s busy focusing like a laser!! It’s quite stressful and must be performed in idyllic and tranquil settings.
To deliver on a promise like that, the ‘President’ would have to have SOME idea what a ‘JOB’ IS!!

Obama will pretty much say anything and sadly, Low Information Voters will believe him and the media won’t hold him responsible, so they condone his lying and his spewing of BS when in front of the camera.
And now, 5 months after the fact we are finding out that Obama also not only lied about Benghazi, but chose instead to go on a campaign jaunt to Las Vegas instead of doing his job. As a result, 4 Americans were tortured, sodomized and murdered while Obama did nothing.
Sir Talks-a-Lot loves the sound of his own voice, but has done nothing but run this country at 100 MPH on the road to ruins.
Never have I witnessed such incompetence, such utter BS and such media malpractice concerning this glorified community organizer.
And since making his promise “not to rest” until every American has a good job, the unemployment rate has actually risen.
If this President worked half as well as he talks and makes boasts of how hard he will work we might be in better economic shape. But this man has no interest in doing the job he was elected to do - he just likes the title, the adoration, the perks. But whether the phone rings at 3:00 AM or 3:00 PM, this President is AWOL as is our media.
