CNN Absurdly Asks If Rubio's Sip of Water Was 'Career-Ender'
NewsBusters ^

Posted on 02/13/2013 4:25:10 PM PST by chessplayer

<> On Wednesday's The Situation Room, host Wolf Blitzer absurdly wondered if Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) pausing his State of the Union response for a drink of water would "break" his career. The CNN chyron flashed "Career-ender?"

"So can a drink of water make or break a political career?" Blitzer asked. "A U.S. Senator, possible presidential candidate. We're going to find out, whether he likes it or not." [Video below the break. Audio here.]

There is no way that this kind of biased “reporting” has not reached the point of just rubbing it in our faces to show us that they can. They are feeling the full flush of their power now.

Dem senator: illegal contributions, criminal illegal alien (redundant, I know) employee, sex tourism for underage girls = not a story or a career ending moment.

The gesture was awkward. It showed poor planning and set up by his team.

For preaching to the choir, not a problem.

As a first exposure to folks who have never heard of him, a problem.

The media is going to “Palinize” any viable (R) candidate for POTUS while giving the empty suit a free pass on everything, including being AWOL on Benghazi, which should have ended his chances at re-election but the media covered his ass and his utter incompetence.

Oh, and they’re big on Style over Substance - never mind that Rubio said more in 5 minutes than Obama said in over an hour.
The media is going to be dismissive of any sense he made and hyperventilate over Rubio taking a sip of water, which automatically makes him unelectable.

As long as you smile, lie, bite your lower lip, point your finger at the camera when making a rehearsed denial, say stupid things like you have campaigned in 57 States, etc...the media is going to give you a free pass as long as you are a Dem.

If a Republican makes the slightest gaffe, it’s a “career ender”

The media became emboldened after their blatant cheerleading for Obama in 2008 while committing character assassination of Sarah Palin, so why would they stop now?

OK, folks, flush twice. Now is NOT the time to save water.

I just noticed that Rubio has very large ears. They don’t stick out, unfortunately.

Obama snorts coke, went to the mans country bathhouse, and was raised by a nest of communists, and that’s cool. Rubio needed a sip of water, and his career is over?

Rubio is the new target. I think he may have some very unpleasant surprises in store for the LSM.

Well that same MSM was terribly worried about Joe the Plumber’s trade license and the DNA of Palin’s Down Syndrome child.
