Liberals and real libertarians are on opposite ends of the political spectrum.
All but a small handful of the founders were libertarians. Hamilton may have been the only one that wasn’t.

Whatever it is, I just would like a citation somewhere where I can read it for myself. It would certainly make a difference in my mind because I heard them talking about burning him out. There are other audio recordings where the police clearly say..’burn the mf out’ . If that is just swat talk for tear gas, I have never heard it before....lol.
The cabin was part of a small resort on the upper reaches of the Santa Ana River. It apparently dated from the 1920's and was an example of the style of mountain cabin architecture of that era. You can read a description of the cabins in the complex at its website.

CS gas is often referred to as "burners".
It's far from clear there was an active firefight. There was a report of a single gunshot after the fire started, and multiple rounds cooking off in the fire.
From what I've gathered there were few shots fired before that, and it's not even clear if they were police or Dorner.
If you listen to the scanner feed at post #59 it's clear that there were no shots being fired even while the front door was being pried open. The door prier-opener reported blood splatter inside.
No shots are being fired, they know the occupant is injured, and at that point they decide to "deploy the burners as planned".
Appreciate the link but nowhere in the link did it say that the swat or military refers to CS as ‘burners’ from what I read. Perhaps you linked the wrong page.
From LAPD pr: “I don’t think there’s going to be a reward,” he said. “Remember, it’s capture and conviction. There was no capture and no conviction. It’s kind of a no-brainer.”
So, not giving the reward is a “no-brainer”. So is a win-win w/dorners death.
Seems pretty straightforward to me.

“burners deployed and we have a fire.” Said in matter-of-fact way, that the fire is expected result of deploying the burners. Then repeated back in just the same way.
