Missouri Democrats introduced an anti-gun bill which would turn law-abiding firearm owners into criminals. They will have 90 days to turn in their guns if the legislation is passed.

Dana Loesch Radio reported on the new legislation being pushed by Missouri Democrats:

Any person who, prior to the effective date of this law, was legally in possession of an assault weapon or large capacity magazine shall have ninety days from such effective date to do any of the following without being subject to prosecution.

Here’s part of the Democratic proposal in Missouri:

4. Any person who, prior to the effective date of this law, was legally in possession of an assault weapon or large capacity magazine shall have ninety days from such effective date to do any of the following without being subject to prosecution:

(1) Remove the assault weapon or large capacity magazine from the state of Missouri;

(2) Render the assault weapon permanently inoperable; or

(3) Surrender the assault weapon or large capacity magazine to the appropriate law enforcement agency for destruction, subject to specific agency regulations.

5. Unlawful manufacture, import, possession, purchase, sale, or transfer of an assault weapon or a large capacity magazine is a class C felony.

Sounds like these particular liberal/fascist/communist lawmakers want to become an endangered species.

Is it time to feed the pigs yet?

When will we be reading that Democrat politicians are mysteriously missing like Jimmy Hoffa. They are pushing the U.S. citizens too far.

Notice that they don’t care about the ILLEGAL guns in the hands of CRIMINALS. This is deliberate. The left deliberately and intentionally leaves guns in the hands of violent criminals, while seizing them from honest, law-abiding non-violent citizens.

The Dims are playing a clever game by purposefully turning up the heat, and then they letting it ratchet back down in the face of fierce opposition. They will keep the whipsaw going in order to advance their agenda, yard by yard.

The idea of this entire charade is, when they finally are able to ram through bills with lesser restrictions (viz. universal background checks, reduced capacity magazines) it will be heralded by the media, politicians, and their cheering sychophants as further "compromise" for "gun safety" and the low information drone voters will see it as compromise and accept it as reasonable.

There’s a whole bunch of square miles of hills and woods and windy country roads in Missouri.

Even if this collectivist grab were to pass as law, enforcement would be humanly impossible. Driven through the Ozarks lately?

talk about taking without compensation.

This is blatently a “all is legal untill the courts say otherwise.”

These types of laws should make the PERSONAL LIVES and FORTUNES subject to criminal prosecution by a shocks the conscience standard. It should also be 100% not dischargable in bankruptcy and have their pension not immune from collection.

I live in Missouri and I will tell you that I have a better chance of being named Miss America than this law has of passing our legislature.

Time for a point system making rural areas have an equal say in awarding electoral votes and senatorial victories.

No more NYC blight style dominance of urban castles.

Can we just have anyone who signs onto crap like this bill arrested and prosecuted for attempt to deny civil rights under the color of authority?

Ya know, you might have something there... Any lawyers out on FR to comment on this elegant approach?

He’s not a member of any legislative body as he lost his election to the U.S. Senate to Claire McCaskill and did not run for his old seat. My point is that without political power, you cannot advance your agenda and political power is obtained by winning elections. Fortunately, the Missouri Legislature is never going to pass this measure, but if we are not careful, that could change.

North Korea is more in keeping with their “loves” and philosophies. I suggest they get crackin’ and packin’.
