WASHINGTON – Harry Belafonte, entertainer, long-time left-wing activist and admirer of Third World dictators, inserted himself into the national debate on gun control when he claimed “white Americans” who agitate for gun rights are ignoring the black “river of blood that washes the streets of our nation.”

The actor was on hand to be honored at the 2013 NAACP Image Awards when he asserted in his acceptance speech that the “group most devastated by America’s obsession with the gun is African Americans.”

“Although making comparisons can be dangerous, there are times when they must be noted,” he said. ‘America has the largest prison population in the world. And of the over 2 million men, women and children who make up the incarcerated, the overwhelming majority is black. We are the most unemployed, the most caught in the unjust systems of justice, and in the gun game, we are the most hunted.”

Belafonte continued: “The river of blood that washes the streets of our nation flows mostly from the bodies of our black children. Yet, as the great debate emerges on the question of the gun, white America discusses the constitutional issue of ownership, while no one speaks of the consequences of our racial carnage.”

Two points I like to make, the first is slaves do not own guns.

The NAACP, like CAIR and the SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center) are seditious outfits. I look forward to the day when a Conservative with real courage and an unabashed love for America will prosecute these vile outfits to the fullest extent of the law.

I know whereof I speak when it comes to NAACP since I was once a member. Back in the early 1960's when I was a naive young college student from up north going to school in Dixie, I foolishly believed then that the NAACP was worthwhile.

Wisdom came slowly to me but eventually I saw the light and transferred to a Conservative Christian college. I then came to realize that the NAACP was a fatally-flawed outfit, steeped in marxism and communist group-think. Just look at how and founded this anti-American organization. Since its emergence from the Niagara Movement in the early 20th Century, its leadership and membership have been fifth columnists.

Having been a card-carrying member of that organization and having attended meetings, I was in the belly of the beast. Based upon my experience, the NAACP was then and remains today, at best, a fraud. More realistically, it's a racist, subversive organization. I regret now that they got a penny of my money. But I sure learned a lot firsthand of just how wicked was and is the NAACP.

So...what he’s saying is that whites must have our 2A rights stripped, because blacks can’t help themselves from breaking the law with drive-by shootings, etc? Well, if that’s the way it works-blacks must have their right to have sex stripped away, as blacks commit the majority of interracial rape, something like 115-0. The rate of white-on-black rape is so low as to be statictically negligible, and there are NO instances of whites raping elderly black women. I will NOT have my 2A rights infringed because too many blacks won’t stop killing indiscriminately and ignoring exisitng gun laws (of which there are already too many).
