York Arms Cancels All Its New York Police Orders

Buxton, ME --(Ammoland.com)- Based on the recent legislation in New York, we are prohibited from selling rifles and receivers to residents of New York.

We have chosen to extend that prohibition to all governmental agencies associated with or located within New York.

As a result we have halted sales of rifles, short barreled rifles, short barreled shotguns, machine guns, and silencers to New York governmental agencies.

For “civilian” customers residing in New York: At your choice, we will: •Complete your order and ship to a dealer of your choice outside of NY. •Refund your payment in full. •Hold your items here for up to 6 months, at no charge – if you are in the process of leaving NY and taking residence in another state.

For LE/Govt customers in New York: Your orders have been cancelled.

Chinese firearm imports were already outlawed with no exemptions for special folks.

“Outlawed” is a word absent from Osama Obama’s lexicon. As well as the lexicon of his pals.

“But such defiance will not be tolerated.”

Yeah, and that “Boston Tea Party” thing wasn’t tolerated much by the Brits, either.

We’re just starting to thumb our noses at authority. This is just the beginning, but a very good one, IMHO.

Good Lord, they are not even a US manufacturer. They are from England!

They might disappear from business,if they go on with this.Still it is good to know pressure is being raised on the government not to go through a blanket ban on firearms, across various states and the nation.

Wish them the best of luck.

I may have mistaken. Now I’m not sure. Sometimes the internet throws me off.

It is a good start, but I fear too many Americans find creature comforts more important than essential liberty. To them, such comforts ARE liberty - and in addendum, we are not of the same moral fiber the majority of Colonists were either.

That this regime has branded TEA Party members as domestic terrorists - is not just rhetoric from Democrats.

That is how they will act against those who are defiant.

Counting the cost is necessary.

Here’s a simple solution to the ammo situation.
The ammo mfrs should prioritize civilian orders of ammunition and only fulfill the gov’t orders on what’s “left over”.

PO Box in Buxton. They stamp their goods as being made in Hollis, right next door.

Bushmaster is in Windham, Maine. Not far from Hollis and Buxton. This is my neck of the woods. I can easily walk to Bushmaster's facilities.

Perhaps picking the nits off my post could be delayed while you respond to DNME, who places York Arms in England.

I thought it was an interesting nit, but that because I'm from around here. Won't bother you again.

I never said York Arms was in England. I’ve never heard of the firm before this.

I merely said the British didn’t tolerate the Boston Tea Party very well, as witness the Intolerable Acts and other responses.
