Charred remains found in cabin positively ID'd as Christopher Dorner, police report

Charred remains found in a burned out California cabin have been positively identified as that of fugitive ex-cop Christopher Dorner, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office said Thursday.

San Bernardino County sheriff's spokeswoman Jodi Miller said the remains were identified through dental examination in the autopsy. Authorities said other personal effects were found in the cabin, including Dorner's license.

Miller did not give a cause of death.

The search for Dorner began last week after authorities said he had launched a deadly revenge campaign against the Los Angeles Police Department for his firing, warning that he would bring "warfare" to LAPD officers and their families.

Interesting. The local LA station said it would be at least two weeks before DNA results for a positive ID.

Don’t tell me... they knew it was him by the cheerful smiling expression he always had on his face - just like ALL the pics the state-run media are running of him...

It’s sad how the truth cannot be told in these days. Of course they burnt him out. He deserved it.

I thought people were allowed to have a trial before a jury of their peers.

I *think* Dorner was guilty, and probably deserved the death penalty. But as an American, he had the right to his day in court.

His murder was criminal.

Respectfully, he would have had his day in court had he surrendered instead of shooting two more deputies and killing one of them.

He chose not to have his day in court, he refused his due process as guaranteed by the Constitution.

When you open fire on police you've made a conscious decision to surrender your right to due process. So in case you forget, when you are stopped for any infraction of the law, don't open fire on the officer or he may take it as a sign that you are attempting to kill him and he'll return fire.

You're correct...With psychopaths like Dorner it's impossible to force them to pursue due process because they are not interested in it, they only want to keep murdering.

His murder? Don’t tell me you are falling for the conspiracy theories that are floating around. What makes you think he was murdered? He shot himself

That self centered BigBaby needin killin, he was becoming sicker and more dangerous by the hour. A psychotic with this level of professional training is luckily still rare in the US.
