First Lady Michelle Obama plans to vacation in Aspen, Colorado this Presidents’ Day weekend, separately from her husband, who will land this evening in West Palm Beach for his own down time with the boys.
According to Aspen newspapers, both Michelle and Vice President Biden are expected on the slopes. The White House has not yet announced the trip, and it’s not clear when she will be leaving, though she will presumably go today.

Keep those planes flying and the security services, federal and domestic, on full alert. The peons can just get off the roads so the motorcades can pass by quickly. Who is going to be tossing the rose pedals in front of the vehicles on these trips I wonder.

Great. Like Presidents Day weekend isn’t already enough of a pain in the ass at the ski areas from the crowds. Now they have to be “subjected” to this asshat and her entourage. (And a mighty big hat it would be) Bet she won’t eat the awful chow at the lodge. Not that she would be paying for it anyway. I’m very super not athletic and my one skiing venture is just a bad, wet cold, yucky memory. Yeah, and one of the other kids broke her leg, so that was bad. But she liked missing school, so that was kind of OK.
