Students, Don’t Like Your Grade? Sue!
Moonbattery ^

In a country run by moonbat lawyers, getting good grades doesn’t need to be about studying hard. Suing is easier and more remunerative:

Megan Thode isn’t the first Lehigh University student who was unhappy with the grade she received in a course. But she may be the first to sue to get it changed.

The C+ that Thode was given scuttled her dream of becoming a licensed professional counselor and was part of an effort to force her out of the graduate degree program she was pursuing, said her lawyer, Richard J. Orloski, whose lawsuit seeks $1.3 million in damages.

Thode is of course a “victim” of “discrimination.” Her claim to this enviable status is that she considers herself an activist for homosexual privilege.

Miss Thode has shown what a good Democrat she is.

Less partying and more studying will usually do the trick. I hope the judge throws that out of ourt and punishes her for filing a frivolous lawsuit and wasting the courts time.

If she’d spend less time bumping hips or would use a little birth control it might not hurt either. Here’s a photo of her and her baby...

Her mediocre grade was a result of vulgar and disruptive classroom behavior. But even without the B,

” Thode ended up graduating from Lehigh with a master’s degree in human development — which is also offered through the College of Education — and now works as a drug-and-alcohol counselor. The $1.3 million she is seeking represents the difference in her earning power over her career if she was instead a state-certified counselor, according to Orloski.

Expect a settlement. The school will give her a B+ and $500,000 if she agrees not to be greedy and steal even more.”

They should just refund her tuition. Oh wait her father works at the school and the education was free. Refund her free education and charge her $300,000 for learning you get what you pay for.

Not so fast! Suppose a student is outed as politically conservative to a Marxist professor, and his grades suffer as a result. Shouldn’t that be grounds for a suit? Not that we’d ever hear about it unless we were close at hand; it’d never make the six or eleven o’clock news!

Here’s a photo of her and her baby.

How'd that happen if she's a homosexual marriage advocate? Is she supposed to be the mother or the father?

I’m not sure the article came right out and said Thode was a homosexual advocate but it it certainly implies it because it said she counsels them and has a close lesbian friend.

I did notice this tidbit in the article though:

“Thode, 27, of Nazareth appeared to fight tears as she sat near Orloski while he spoke. The lawyer said his client was always more optimistic than he was, having “greater faith in my talents than I did.”

Seems that liberals always seem to have more faith in their leaders than they should have. Sort of made me chuckle at their naivety...lol

Indeed, giving a “C” is the way that students with Obama-like abilities are shown the door.

Of course Mr quota baby got his token passes.

This woman should go into something requiring no talent or morals.

Politics comes to mind.

Nice. I’m surprised former astronaut Lisa Nowak didn’t sue after being kicked out of NASA for trying to kidnap her colleague.

I was referencing info I got from other sources which went into more detail as to why she got the 'zero' for class participation. In class rants and tears.

But you might want to re-read the last line of the excerpt posted above. Not as much detail as I've read elsewhere, but fairly clear.

Mebbe Ms. Thode could retake the course the next time it is offered.
