COLUMBIA, S.C. (WISTV) —Five people are in the hospital after a shooting outside a club very early Saturday morning.
The incident happened shortly before 3 a.m. at the T and T Uptown Lounge, located at 3003 Colonial Drive.
Three men and two women were taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Police said two of the shooting victims were in critical condition Saturday morning.
Preliminary information suggests that witnesses saw shots being fired from a car outside of the club, police said. There may have been an altercation at the club before the shooting, according to investigators.

I’m surprised the Amish were out partying ‘til 3:00 a.m. when they usually have to get up around 5:00 to go milk the cows...
I find it is often interesting to use Google Streetview to check out the environs of happenings such as are reported here.
I wouldn’t go near the place in the daytime.
BTW, the businesses at the other end of that little strip, a beauty shop and a sportswear shop, both have bars in the windows.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that’s another sign we’re not talking about a great neighborhood.
Columbia has a large black population. I wonder if there is any correlation?
I know that part of town (lived in Columbia for 8 years). At least they were really close to the hospital when they got shot?
