Political Outcast ^ | February 16, 2013 | Tad Cronn

Since the recent State of the Union address, President Obama has been touting his proposal to offer free preschool to everybody.

The White House cites studies that claim all manner of benefits to sticking young children into the zoo early on, including later “success.” And Obama claims one of his main motivations is to close the test score “achievement gap” between poor and rich kids.

[snip] If you truly want to give your child an educational head start, turn off the TV and make him crack a couple of books every week.

Lenin took kids away at 9 months and forced women into the work place— he invented “Day Care” so that he would have the power to form the total worldview of the future communists. They have to destroy the ideas of “God” (particularly Christianity since every individual counts and can’t be eliminated) and Mother and Father (family)-—destroy that loyalty which only time and dedication create-—to the family unit because it is loyalty to others instead of the State.

Slave mentality is learned by being in institutions (day cares, Prussian-type schools like in America)-—collectives-—so that there is no independent “thinking” and initiative and “thinking outside the box” is punished. It is where forced “radical egalitarianism” and “group think” can be achieved——by allowing children to be formed inside a family unit creates individuals with strong concepts of self-worth and individualism which is necessary to stand against mobs-—group think. So many “liberals/communists” have been conditioned (lied to) in public schools where they feel awkward or humiliated if the “think” differently than the PC (Mao) allowed patterns forced in public schools.

All Common Sense is lost when not allowed to grow up like Lincoln experiencing real life-—and that individuality—and responsibility to family and respect of individuals is lost when you are raised by a collective.

Of course, the Marxist in Chief wants children when their brains are especially “plastic” so he can force his artificial lies onto them and embed them with no Common Sense——like Sammy can have two daddies. Sodomy is “good”. For, to destroy Christian Ethics and the Constitution (Natural Laws) he only has to brainwash kids to think the absurd vice is “Good”.

Common Sense-—and Logic and Reason will be eliminated from the minds of these children. They won’t “think’ like our Founding Fathers. They will be incapable of “thinking”-—”Feelings” will dominate everything like it does for all Marxists/collectivists/socialists/progressives who will believe whatever the State tells them-—because they can’t use Logic and institutions like Day Care teach children to believe what the authority person tells them. All initiative is punished.

But worse, it destroys the ability to believe in God-—since the State replaces HIm. This atheist/

Ironically, the author seems to make excuses (at least from the synopsis) for the "victims" of the investigations into subversive activities designed to propagandize Socialist and Communist ideas to the public. Did the author bother to follow the trails to see if there was Soviet influence at hand to get these materials to schools?

At the height of the Cold War, dozens of radical and progressive writers, illustrators, editors, librarians, booksellers, and teachers cooperated to create and disseminate children's books that challenged the status quo. Learning from the Left provides the first historic overview of their work. Spanning from the 1920s, when both children's book publishing and American Communism were becoming significant on the American scene, to the late 1960s, when youth who had been raised on many of the books in this study unequivocally rejected the values of the Cold War, Learning from the Left shows how "radical" values and ideas that have now become mainstream (including cooperation, interracial friendship, critical thinking, the dignity of labor, feminism, and the history of marginalized people), were communicated to children in repressive times. A range of popular and critically acclaimed children's books, many by former teachers and others who had been blacklisted because of their political beliefs, made commonplace the ideas that McCarthyism tended to call "subversive." These books, about history, science, and contemporary social conditions-as well as imaginative works, science fiction, and popular girls' mystery series-were readily available to children: most could be found in public and school libraries, and some could even be purchased in classrooms through book clubs that catered to educational audiences. Drawing upon extensive interviews, archival research, and hundreds of children's books published from the 1920s through the 1970s, Learning from the Left offers a history of the children's book in light of the history of the history of the Left, and a new perspective on the links between the Old Left of the 1930s and the New Left of the 1960s.

Many such movements did lead back to "Mother Russia". Foreign influence of public opinion by seditious Leftists SHOULD have been of concern. "Good intentions" be damned as you all dragged this nation into Hell.

This is an indirect tax refund to the middle class and single mothers... half day after school childcare is much cheaper than paying all day before they start kindergarten.

The unintended consequences are at home child care providers and day care centers lose money, and need less staff.

A boon to the teachers unions in public education...

yeah, my parents are flaming liberal Catholics. I am familiar with the type. However, the conservative Catholics are the best.

LOL, you are so correct. Knee jerk reactions. I won’t go as far to say stupid parents produce stupid kids though. Illiterate parents my not know how to set their children up to be successful.

Parents who never finished school may not have all the tools or knowledge to help their kids in school. They just know that their kids are attending school. Parents have to stay involved with learning.

Or the terror inducing moment when CPS calls because your 5 year old and 3 year old say Mommy and Daddy leave them alone a lot. Under questioning, it was because Daddy was at school and Mommy says “I’m working, I’m doing chores, go play, go watch TV, leave me alone”.
The kids had an adult, just not someone who was a playmate as much as desired.

This has nothing to do with “smartness”. Smartness is known to be affected by the ratio of one adult to one child-—it is why only and oldest children usually scored highest in IQ and were the scientists like Einstein. All children who are behind-—can improve with tutoring-—it is more effective—that one on one. You NEVER put children in huge groups with few adults for IQ improvement. They pick up all sorts of bad behaviors and peer pressure and are easily distracted from learning.

Attending school has nothing to do with genius. Lincoln never attended school for more than a few months later than age 7. Mark Twain went only a few years to school. John Stuart Mill was homeschooled, as most of the geniuses who Founded the USA. Ben Franklin was reading well before going to any school at age 7 or 8 and he was done when he was around 12.

The Prussian school system adopted in America is for one thing only-—mass conformity—BRAINWASHING. Young children when put into day care centers are actually lowering their IQ. Children learn many immature things—have poor grammar reinforced and are exposed to behaviors which are best not witnessed at young ages (and copied). They were meant to copy adult behavior in a loving family setting. Parents should be the teachers and role models-—not other little children.

Forming worldview and Virtue is the only reason for education—stated by all educators up until socialist Dewey (in Western Civ). and until the Prussians who developed a system of mass socialization in the 1800s which the Communists adopted. Lenin invented the Day Care and forced all women to work and give up their children to the State. This was so they could “mold” the “worldview” of all the children and erase God and Christian Ethics. The Formative years are 1 -7 but even after 7, the Values of the parents need to be reaffirmed, not undermined. Today, all public schools undermine Christianity—they use BF Skinner methodology to associate Christianity with bigotry, hatred, and intolerance to warp children’s thinking and destroy normal sexual development by introducing Heather has two mommies and other lies.

What “early” separation from parents does, is heighten stress hormones and destroys the bonding of parents and child and makes peers more important influences, since they spend more time with peers than parents.

Loyalty to parents decreases and the State can easily undermine the authority of the parents and take over the task of forming their values and attitudes.

I would never allow the State to form the “worldview” of my children. As all philosophers knew (and communists know) that the government will make slaves of the State if they control the public schools.

Getting younger children will create more zombies for government who will believe anything the government tells them. They are conditioned and brainwashed to think the government is god and they are dependent on it-—never a connection to family—just what collapsed the family unit and child birth in Russia. Creates dysfunctional people who are incapable of long-term healthy relationships.

People who aren’t in mass education systems are independent thinkers—more apt to “think outside the box” and are more responsible for their own lives and want privacy and independence from government. They are not conditioned to be in govt. data systems and ask permission to even go to the bathroom. The institutionalization of children is evil and communism.

Parents used to understand that orphanages were evil and separation in the formative years was done by evil mothers. That idea was changed by the word “day care” to “preschool” in the 70’s so the socialists could get little children away from the influence of Christian parents who loved their kids. It didn’t work—until language change and promotion in magazines and socialist universities—to act like “intelligence” was connected to strangers taking care of your child. It dehumanizes the early formation of children and destroys that trust that children should have for their parents—not the State.

School is an unnatural system which doesn’t cater to the individual needs of a child-—until AFTER the age 8 or so when the formation of character is pretty well set. Dewey wanted to mold that “plastic mind” and get children at younger and younger ages—which he managed to do. It is evil.

Now that they will allow cross dressers in the school this will confuse kids even more.
