The Jewish Home and Yesh Atid parties have entered into a strategic alliance and notified Likud-Beytenu coalition negotiators that the two parties will either enter the government together or retire to the opposition.
Both parties are intent on legislating the conscription of ultra-Orthodox Israelis into military or national service, a move rejected by the ultra-Orthodox parties, making coalition talks extremely challenging for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In response to the alliance, reported by the Hebrew media Sunday, a senior Likud source involved in the coalition negotiations accused the national-religious Jewish Home party of voter fraud, for forming an agreement with Yesh Atid instead of allying with Likud-Beytenu, as it had promised it would in its elections campaign.
Last week, the Jewish Home party rejected an offer of senior ministerial posts in return for a pledge to immediately join a Likud-led coalition, saying it couldnt make any such commitment before the governments policy outlines were hammered out.

You were excited about Bennet, weren’t you? What do you think? Is he selling the settlers down the river?
Yes. Another election, another liar.
I am curious who you were excited about.
Considering that I am an American Christian, it’s no wonder that I was rooting for Netanyahu. But I had been praying that parties like HaBayit HaYehudi would give him the support to stand tall and annex Judea and Samaria. Bibi needs to quit hoping the US or the EU will help him, he’s no better than the king of Judah that put his trust on Egypt! But, with the help of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, he would be able to gain control of all the territories west of the Jordan river. And that would be only the beginning!
