Upworthy — or, How we are losing the internet to lowest of low information young liberals
Legal Insurrection ^ | February 17, 2013 | William A. Jacobson

I previously wrote about how BuzzFeed Politics has combined “the culture” and savvy crafting into a highly effective tool for undermining Republicans with subtle and not-so-subtle mockery.  “Look at the goofy cat, look at the goofy celeb, look at the goofy Republican” is more dangerous to us than a 5000-word article in The New York Times Sunday Magazine.

To follow up on that theme, I happened upon a website called Upworthy, which had one its posts run at HuffPo, Elizabeth Warren Asks The Most Obvious Question Ever, Stumps A Bunch Of Bank Regulators.

The post was so wrong on substance, I just had to click over to the source.

And therein I learned what millions of very low-information young liberals already knew — there is this website called Upworthy which is one giant liberal activist social media machine which creates viral social media memes in the cause of liberal political activism.

Wonder how much of Karl Rove's war chest was geared toward internet communication?

Won't young liberal activists be shocked when they learn what they were really doing. Instead of creating the utpoia they thought, it will be hell & enslavement they receive.

Such a shame, because by then it will be too late and they won't be able to exercise their newfound conservatism.

I don’t underestimate the political power of social media.

However, to a great extent they are media for people under age 30.

There is some rarely publicized good news on that front.

A majority of white voters under age 30 voted for Mitt Romney.

Even white women under 30 gave Romney a 1% lead.

The GOP “problem” with young voters is demographic.

Young Blacks and Hispanics vote almost the same as their parents.

Plus, Blacks and Hispanics make up a higher percentage of the under 30 demographic, so the “youth” vote skews even further left than it does in older age groups.

However, if a completely uninspiring candidate like Mitt Romney, with almost no social media presence, can gather a majority of young white voters, there are clear reasons for optimism.

As to young Blacks and Hispanics, until someone invents an intellectual and moral vaccine against European Socialism, those voters are terminal.

The link to Upworthy shows a 3-4 minute video clip of Senator Warren asking bank regulators at a congressional hearing why they have never taken a Wall Street bank to trial.

Regardless of your politics it would seem to be a relavant question.

Regardless of your politics it would seem to be a relavant question.

The hypocrisy of the questioning that I've seen reported is that the regulators being questioned are all Obama appointees. Those of them who required confirmation were confirmed by a Democrat senate.

There’s one simple way to deal with liberals on this topic -

Stop worrying what the Left thinks and stop trying to appease them. Ignore them and go about your way taking care of your own business. Their idiocy will destroy themselves in the end.

Why would anybody trust a fake Native American (Warren)?

Some people are fighting back in this “meme warfare.”

Look for a 5m youtube video shortly with “Democide” in the title. You’ll know it when you see it.

This has been my sentiment all along. They are fools being led to the slaughter. They don’t realize that history repeats itself over and over again and that this is just another chapter; that it repeats because men never change no matter what the age or their technological advances. This new generation needs wisdom which comes from God yet they have all but forsaken Him.

I can't really blame the children as far too many adults have forsaken Him so they do not know better. Their parents, educators, the visible role models (sports & entertainment) of today, but most importantly, those who are supposed to be truth tellers (read MSM sources) have not only forsaken Him but have denied his existence, and have vilified Him and anyone who believes in Him.

Educators today try to make the children believe they are their friends (why so many are charged with sex crimes), even their contemporaries if young enough, and that their parents are old fuddy-duddies who are their enemies. They do not teach children what is needed to raise a generation capable of taking over. Most of our young adults, 35 & under have been through this indocrination all of their school years from elementary through college. I find that most that could not afford to go to college are more conservative than their college educated peers. However, the college educated ones are the ones getting jobs controlling news & entertainment.

Even our churches are guilty, and especially our politicans. In other words many share the blame, but liberals will one day wake up to what the gave away and they will have no recourse to get back to what we even still have today.
