Two men were killed Sunday during a home invasion in Prince Edward County, and a search was ongoing for a third suspect, according to local authorities. Sheriffs deputies responded to the 5000 block of Prince Edward Highway after receiving a 911 call regarding a home invasion, according to a statement released by Sheriff Wesley W. Reed. The caller stated that three individuals entered his residence armed with weapons. Gunfire was exchanged between the caller and the suspects, police said. Two of the suspects were shot and pronounced dead at the scene, while the third suspect fled on foot. K-9 units were brought in and tracked the suspect around a quarter-mile west of the crime scene where he is believed to have gotten into a vehicle on U.S. 460, police said. The two dead suspects were being taken to the medical examiners office in Richmond for identification and cause of death. Virginia State Police is assisting the Prince Edward County Sheriffs Office in the investigation.

I'm guessing the cause wasn't cancer.

Those poor perps — shot by one of those right wing, gun-crazed evangelical home owners who didn't wait for the cops to come and prevent the dastardly crime. As they say, “when seconds count the police are minutes away.”

I don’t get why the DNC is so worried about their constituents getting offed in such circumstances.
They will be voting for decades to come.

These perps were sure devoid of situational awareness, failing to notice that average citizens - by the millions - have been stocking up and “prepping” for uninvited guests.

Some A hole went in to a Metro PCS store in Sacramento, went to the rear with his gun and got shot by the employee he ignored. Dead dead dead.

There are so many ways to put it...
- Massive blood loss.
- Severe trauma.
- Terminal stupidity.
And of course the boring old standby.

I'm guessing the cause wasn't cancer. The ultimate cause was cancer of the soul. Everything else is just technical details.

I love a Monday morning feel-good story...I feel good for the homeowner’s shooting skills and that we now have two less wastes of oxygen. I don’t feel so good about the one that got away or the stories soon to appear about the dead perps who had “just got their life together” or some such nonsense by a crying granny.

The story makes one wonder if it were the Amish again. No mention if the perps were white, black, green or yellow.
They’re dead none-the-less and I guess that’s what counts.
Too bad the third one got away as he will more than likely keep at his chosen profession until he too meets the end of a gun barrel.
