Obama Visit Code Name: Unbreakable Alliance (Israelis asked to vote for their favorite logo)

The English version of the code name chosen for the operations surrounding the upcoming visit to Israel by U.S. President Barack Obama, scheduled for March 20, is "Unbreakable Alliance." The Hebrew name is "Brit Amim," which means, literally, "an alliance between nations."

According to Maariv/NRG, the names were chosen carefully by the National Public Information Staff, which is wary of upsetting Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

Obama is going to Israel to tell Netanyahu that 1)Under no circumstances will the United States involve itself in a third war in the region. 2) Iran in fact will have their nuclear weapons. Israel must accept the terrifying peace of mutually assured destruction. 3) Netanyahu must not attack unilaterally since an Israeli attack is likely to fail and would put American ships in the Persian Gulf at grave risk. If those ships are sunk, Israel will be blamed for starting a war and the “Unbreakable alliance between nations” just might break. Israel can not afford such a strategic shift. Qur'an (66:2) - "Allah has already ordained for you, (O men), the dissolution of your oaths"

Qur'an (3:54) - "And they (the disbelievers) schemed, and Allah schemed (against them): and Allah is the best of schemers." The Arabic word used here for scheme (or plot) is makara, which literally means deceit. If Allah is deceitful toward unbelievers, then there is little basis for denying that Muslims are allowed to do the same. (See also 8:30 and 10:21)

Taken collectively these verses are interpreted to mean that there are circumstances when a Muslim may be "compelled" to deceive others for a greater purpose.

There's also something fitting about the inadvertant symbolism in these designs, like that of Balaam delivering a blessing/prophecy instead of a curse.

Unbreakable alliance... the two flags merged as one... a star of David interwoven with the Stars and Stripes. Take yer pick, it all reads like...

Unbreakable Alliance? That sounds pretty close to "Unbreakable Union," which is how a song that I know begins. Could there be a connection?
