I wonder if outside groups can get in on the free shirts. imagine them being overwhelmed by tens of thousands of requests for the free t shirts.

First, she admits that affirmation, rather than tolerance, is the goal of her movement. Second, she characterizes refusal to affirm homosexuality as evidence of a "phobia," which needs to be combatted. Her position is simple: Pro gay is fine by me. Anything else is not fine by me.

Women's lib and the homosexual lobby have in common the premise that men and women are interchangeable. If you accept that premise you are accepting the homosexual and feminist agendas.

It is hardly a phobia to take actions to protect the health and safety of the population. Supporting the gay life style, supporting gay marriage, is supporting added risk to the mental and physical health of the population, because sexual perversion increases risk of mental illness, STDs, and reduced life span of the participants.

Why would anyone with common sense demand that all increase risk for such specious reasoning on the basis of some kind of warped and twisted Utopian view of life?

E-Z U has bigger problems than this, like the fact that it’s a crap school and a laughingstock in the NC university system.

I’m glad they’re tackling the big problems first.

A real shame. I visited ECU back in 1990 right after I got my undergraduate degree. Nice campus and town. And I still remember the very nice looking girls as well too ! LOL

My thing on homosexuality. I disagree with it, it is immoral and lastly, I don’t want to know if someone is not straight. IMHO, it should not be talked about. When I teach part time in the classroom, I teach my subject matter and not talk politics or anything else.

From the article:

For those who disagree, just give them yellow stars (or come over and sew them on their outer garments).

Just what the heck does that mean? Would those be six-pointed yellow stars by any chance? Will they say, "Homophobe" on them?

Please tell me I didn't read that, or--at least--I'm interpreting it wrong.

I wonder how many people on that campus will have the courage to “opt out”?

I’ve been reading this guy’s articles for some time and this one screams a question that’s been in the back of my mind since I started reading these articles, i.e., why in the world is this guy still working at ECU??????? Really, I mean if ever there was an example of wrong place/wrong time/wrong person, this is surely it. Really strange; he seems intelligent enough. I can’t imagine its lack of imagination. Sheeesh, someone suggest U-Haul to this guy; he needs to get outa there and get a life somewhere!

The easiest way to combat this lunacy is to tell them you are gay and you oppose it.

Their beanied little heads will explode.

The shirts will be distributed free of charge, though the LGBTRO welcomes donations to the project."

Well, a free T-shirt ain't a bad thing.

I assume there's no agreement they'd have to sign not to modify it?

This highlights my growing resentment towards the LGBT crowd.

The truth is — rather than being filled with hatred and fear - as they seem to believe, I spend most of my time not thinking about them at all.

But they are so hung up on themselves they can’t stand that.

They are demanding we change our traditions, our institutions, and even our language - to pacify them.

But even that is not enough - now we must always have them foremost on our minds as well.
