Shocker: Universal Orlando To Drop Part Time Health Coverage Because of ObamaCare

President Obama confidently stated in 2009, “If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan,” …unless you are one of the 7 million people the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office is estimating that will lose their employment based health insurance. Fail.

Need some more concrete evidence? Check this out:

Universal Orlando plans to stop offering medical insurance to part-time employees beginning next year, a move the resort says has been forced by the federal government’s health-care overhaul.

The giant theme-park resort, which generates more than $1 billion in annual revenue, began informing employees this month that it will offer health-insurance to part-timers “only until December 31, 2013.”

The low-information voters will never realize they caused this with their low-information vote. That’s why they’re low-information voters.

Not to defend Obamacare, but a $5,000 per year maximum hospital coverage might just as well be zero. Spend one night at a hospital and you’ve busted that. Go for outpatient, some thing. Those people might as well not be covered.

The evil NBC owners are not following Baraq’s plan of salvation.

Don’t the execs consult Brian Williams and Angria Mitchell to get their marching orders?

I 100% agree with you.

I am actually glad Obamacare won, but I want democrats to lose the Presidency, the Senate and I want the GOP to keep the house.

But I do not want a return to what we had before. We had a mess - an expensive moronic screw-the-independents monstrosity which was designed to separate people from their money.

There I said it.

But the GOP now needs to run things and BRING BACK US JOBS.

Now.

Bring back US jobs. From China, and from overseas.

Do it now. GOP rebuild this mess now.

That ain'tgoing to happen, my FRiend. For that to happen factories, shipyards, and steelmills will have to be built. The EPA will not allow that to happen.

In leiu of that, the American male and American boys' parents will allow themselves to conitnue to be feminized and the American public will continue to become more and more dependean upon the Government to wipe their asses for them until the next generation will consist of mostly feminized slaves to the Governmental bureaucrats.

My daughter in law works for a hotel. She received a letter in the mail saying that her full time with health insurance job was getting downgraded to part time with no insurance coverage. Last month she got employee of the month, gee thanks ....

I think you’ll find one of the reasons that the Republicans can’t bring the jobs back is that they have trouble understanding the root causes of why the jobs left anyway.

I’ll spell them out for the record, but it would take a LOT of guts to run on these types of issues...especially because the country doesn’t believe it either:

1) Unions: They have to go. They serve no purpose anymore, and they are the number one reason factories close.

2) Excessive Regulations of all types: They all add to the mix. Starting with the minimum wage, then excessive environmental laws, excessive labor laws, etc.

3) Ending the Entitlement State: At the very least, getting the federal government out of all forms of welfare. Let the states run it, with their own rules.

4) Education Reform: Breaking the grasp of liberals on education. Start by ignoring all “School of Education” degrees. Basically act as if they don’t exist - which means fire 90% of teachers and administrators. Bring people in with real college degrees to teach. We have a HUGE army of non-workers that can pick up the slack tomorrow. Today’s teachers can find work more suiting their level of education, and I’ll leave it at that. Needless to say, also get the federal government out of education.

That’s pretty much what I would want the Republicans to do, but I’m done dreaming.
