Exactly what the nazis and the soviets used to say:

"You should not be afraid of the chief of police knowing that you're purchasing ammunition," Campos said. "If you're not doing anything wrong or illegal, the fact that the chief of police knows should not be a problem."

One of THE BASTIONS of lib-tardness decides to push a meaningless, in-reality-accomplishs-nothing-knee jerk-politically-motivated bit of ‘feel good’ legislation...I’m shocked, I tell you!

The ammunition that would be illegal to possess in San Francisco are hollow-point bullets with barbs that inflict more damage in a shooting victim.

"These barbs cause significant damage to internal organs ... and make surgical repair effectively impossible," said Jason Elliott from the mayor's office. Violators would face up to six months in jail or a $1,000 fine.

Military members and law enforcement personnel would be exempt from the legislation.

If someone is intent on doing harm to either my family or me, I really don't care if the bullet I fire into that attacker "makes surgical repair effectively impossible".

And do politicos like Mr. Elliott really think that less damage would be done, if it's a cop rather than a civilian who fires such a bullet?

New law in San Francisco. Everyone must go out and buy a gun, bring it to their local police and turn it in. This will keep people safer and this way everyone gets to participate in the cleansing of our communities.

I see a fantastic ammo promo for San Fran gun owners:

Packs of ammo - San Francisco 499ers. 1 short of 500 rounds.

CALIFORNIA EXPLAINED: Consider this: Chief Heather Fong (left), is the first SFPD female, lesbian chief of police. Theresa Sparks (center), a former male, is president of the San Francisco Police Commission, CEO of a multimillion-dollar sex toy retailer, and a transgender woman. Sgt. Stephan Thorne (right), a former female, is the first transgender male SFPD police officer.

Their Representative in Congress is Nancy Pelosi.

That about sums it up

“The ammunition that would be illegal to possess in San Francisco are hollow-point bullets with barbs that inflict more damage in a shooting victim.”

OK, everyone pay attention. “Military grade ammunition” is full metal jacket as required by the Geneva Convention. It does not expand when it hits anything made of flesh.

Hollowpoint ammo is NOT military grade ammunition. Hollow points for military use are outlawed by the same Geneva Convention. I have no idea what these “barbs” are. Whoever is proposing this law and the “journalist” who is reporting it have, as is usual with libtards, NO FREAKING IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT!

I’m sure that they “feel good” about it all though. In their tiny minds this will help to end the scourge of violence by guns. Even the guns don’t know what these morons are talking about.

No, these are NOT military type ammunition. Hollow point ammunition was outlawed in military use by the Geneva Conventions. . . ammunition to do more than wound or kill, ammunition designed to deliberately maim, was outlawed amount civilized nations. These idiots do not know what they are talking about or what they are outlawing.

Does anyone really pay attention to any of the laws SanFran passes anymore these days? The last time I had to travel through there was in the early nineties, and it looked so much like one of those graffiti-themed third-world cesspools that I swore I would never allow Myself or anyone I cared about go through that place unless it was in chains.

With all the latest idiocy being spewed from there, even doing online shopping if it is marked as being from San Fran in any way then I make a purchase elsewhere. They're not getting another penny from this direction.
