Teddy Turner, son of billionaire media mogul Ted Turner and Republican candidate for Congress, said his fathers marriage to Jane Fonda prompted his major left turn.
I was raised in a different time at the Turner household
a very conservative household with capitalism and all of that kind of stuff, the younger Turner told Newsmax TVs The Steve Malzberg Show.

I really don't know if this is a case of Teddy playing "Good Cop, Bad Cop" to get votes. He has targeting his father Ted Turner for criticism to try to win votes in South Carolina

The only thing that Hanoi Jane could make me is...homosexual.

Teddy Turner is facing former South Carolina Governor Mark Stanford in the GOP Primary for Congress.
If the saying "like father, like son", I hope that people might realize that it would be a mistake to vote for Teddy Turner.

Any man who would let that skinny Communist-loving witch turn him into a Leftist is a poor specimen. He deserves our scorn.

Unless your teen libido had been stirred by seeing her in “Cat Ballou” and “Barbarella.”
I thought he was dead...go figure....an a$$hole supreme.

Celebate— Maybe , Homosexual—no way.

Tough choice for South Carolina voters - the son of Red Ted, or a lying whoremonger who mis-used taxpayer money.

In Barbarella, she looked like my ex, Jane was a very hot looking woman when young.

Didn’t he create Captain Planet before he married Fonda? That show was as far out on the left fringe as one could get.
It’s not like this is the first time a woman ruined a man.

You might admire Teddy for going public like this but it puts a spotlight on the weak-kneed father who had no principles, no core honesty, and susceptibility to being brainwashed.
George Romney got run out of politics for admitting to being brainwashed — Ted Turner should have begged forgiveness as soon as the divorce was finalized. Who knows: CNN might have been saved from itself and its decline.

Crazy Ted (this individual’s father) once lamented - in public - that he had fathered five children and couldn’t now shoot them.

Supposedly, the now radical Left version of Fonda cringes when “Barbarella” is mentioned — which, to me, is all the more reason to refer to it.
Yeah, right. Those who are out of touch with reality can fool us.

CNN along with all of Turner Broadcasting Turner sold to Time Warner. He kept the Braves and I believe Omni Center too. No one tells Ted Turner what to think.

The Braves (and Turner Field) were part of the package and were owned by Time Warner until they were sold to Liberty Media in 1996.

Sorry, I meant to say they were part of the package bought by Time Warner in 1996. They were sold to Liberty Media in 2007.

Converting a true conservative to a modern day liberal is like converting a true Christian to a cult. It cannot happen. Or at least it would require a lobotomy.
