The GOP should stand fast on the sequester. If it caves, it’ll lose the House majority in 2014.
If all the GOP is there for is to make Obama’s life easier, there is no point to having it remain in power.
The politicians main concern at this moment is not our plight, but who will get blamed.

The sequester should go forward...as a dry run for the Connie Mack Penny Plan.
The plan calls for removing a penny from every dollar spent for 6 years. So year one the federal government would spend 99% of what it did the prior year.
The sequester doesn’t even do that...even with it, the federal government will spend more this year than last year.
But its a good start...and a good way for people to see that the sky didn’t fall.

They did but it's 100% true that Obama led the way.
The GOP idea was to make the committee come up with the 1.2 T in cuts. If they didn't there was to be no debt hike.
Obama said to sequester instead of making the committee responsible for the task so the GOP went along with it because they still got their 1.2 T in cuts.
The Sequester itself was definitely ALL Obama's idea.
No actual cuts in spending are in the sequester! However the increase in spending will be cut so that the extra spending is less... NO CUT is actual dollars.
