A jury heard a childs chilling screams to 911 dispatchers that he had been raped by an intruder and his dad was dying on the floor in the attempted-murder trial yesterday of the man who is accused of breaking into the fathers Cambridge home and brutally terrorizing the pair.
Dad, are you OK? the then-11-year-old son of a Harvard employee could be heard whimpering during the Aug. 26, 2010, call to state police dispatcher Patricia Furdon from a bedroom, where his nearly decapitated father was bleeding profusely.

Well, this is a non-story. No gun involved. Move on. Nothing to see here.
Good thing that family didn’t have a gun for self defense or that situation may have gotten out of control. Calling 911 and patiently waiting for the police to eventually show up (after a stop at Dunkin’ Donuts) was the right thing to do!
This would be one of those. What a vile, despicable, sleazy SOB.
I don't even know what has to happen to somebody to incline them to have absolutely no regard for human life.
People that choose not to own a gun or two in these times are stupid at best.
Crime seems to run in the Colono family.
The only surprise here is that the state isn’t prosecuting the child for interfering with a crime, like they did with the previous victim of the Colono crime family.
It’s a good thing Cambridge is a gun free zone that is inhabited with sophisticated folks.
Anyone that doubts there is evil in this world is a fool.
Rape of an 11 year old boy child and the attempted murder of his father.
I would gladly volunteer to execute this POS.
Well it’s in Massachusetts so they will congratulate him give him 60 days and turn him loose.
Alexander Pring-Wilson was convicted of manslaughter in the 2003 death of 18-year-old Michael Colono of Cambridge. His conviction was later overturned. He reached a deal to serve two years in prison after his second trial ended in a hung jury.
And in typical Massatwosh!ts fashion, the true victim gets punished for defending himself successfully.
Owning a gun? In Cambridge? Even the *police* there aren't allowed to do that. They're all issued iPads loaded with conflict resolution apps.
In addition, charges in connection with the rapes of two women in Brighton in 2008 await Colono in Suffolk County.
Two rapes in 2008? Why is the animal out of prison waiting for trial 5 years later?
What? Don’t blame the victim for the crime.....
Even if he had a gun in the house a home invasion can occur faster than you can get to a weapon....
The criminal is the one to hold accountable..
“Two rapes in 2008? Why is the animal out of prison waiting for trial 5 years later?”
Possibly because the victims were not related to me.
As my dad was close to passing on, he told me it was my duty to take care of, in a permanent fashion, anyone who does any harm to any of the women in our family. He said, don’t count on the courts or the police to do it for you because you will be disappointed. He was a cop btw.
This perp needs to swing from the neck until dead. No 20 year wait on death row either... Fast track a jury and try him tomorrow. Hang him immediately after sentencing.
Make his name a warning for any other animals contemplating such actions.
“...Even if he had a gun in the house a home invasion can occur faster than you can get to a weapon...”
My son laid down a loaded Taurus Ultra-lite .38 on my desk and two speed loaders filled with 158 grain hollow points. I guess he figured I was too comfortable with them being in the closet. Sometimes youngsters remind you of things you thought you taught them.
By all means, Mister, don’t keep a gun at home to protect your CHILD from being RAPED...that would be so...Republican.
Good luck getting in my house without me or my dog hearing it. I have an equalizer in every room of the house.
I didn’t suggest that the criminal not be held accountable, on the contrary I’ll gladly pull the switch/trigger.
