"Claims Obama critic is using his race to bolster career"
Media Matters has posted a “research article” claiming Dr. Benjamin Carson is just “the latest in a long line of black conservatives – from Clarence Thomas to Herman Cain – relentlessly promoted and propped up by right-wing voices in the media.”
The article, “Ben Carson’s Moment,” contains just a few original paragraphs and a slew of links to articles and videos.
Carson, the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, struck a chord with many Americans when he delivered a devastating critique of Obamacare at the National Prayer Breakfast earlier this month, with President Obama seated a few feet away.
Though he already was the youngest head of a major division at Johns Hopkins, the first surgeon to successfully separate conjoined twins and the recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, it was the prayer breakfast speech that catapulted him into headlines.
According to the Atlantic, he “voiced concern about the national debt and argued the case for a flat tax, using the Bible’s injunction to tithe a set percentage, and for health-savings accounts, a medical option that has gained currency among conservatives. Crucially, he delivered this speech from a podium just feet from President Obama.”
Media Matters chose to focus on the surgeon’s race.

Naturally. Even though I’m not sold on Rubio yet, the liberal media started marginalizing him with the “water” incident when it appeared he was a “rising star” within the Republican party. The Dems really do have an Alinsky type hold on things, it is no joke. Now that Ben Carson “dared” to speak out against Obama, the ad hominem attacks, marginalizing, and ridiculing from the liberal establishment must begin.

I’m thinking brown skinned conservatives from all walks of life are silent about their good sense, because they are afraid of being called slanderous names by the immoral left.

Dr. Carson spoke out with a COMMON SENSE and simple alternative to Obama’s thousand theories about healthcare TO OBAMA’S FACE. A brilliant speech, a Christian surgeon, a brilliant surgeon; now Obama must use surrogates to destroy him (counting on the fact that many people didn’t hear the prayer breakfast speech of Dr. Carson).

I love the way this happened, just as it did for His Excellency brow beating Paul Ryan. I bet His Excellecny had to take a few dozen Tums after that breakfast. I would equally loved it to have had him rise in debate....”ah, uh, well, that is one notion, but ah, uh, there are some who say, ah, eh, uh... No the chump had to sit there and listen to someone talking reason and he took the cowards way out, sent out his brown shirts to rough up the opposition. Not only is this POS a villain and bully, he is a coward and beneath contempt.
It's a fair bet that on the same page, they have another article calling Republicans racists for not having enough blacks in the party.
