He's attacked the 1% for the umpteenth time at an Exclusive Yacht/Golf Club in South Florida, surrounded by his Millionaire/Billionaire Friends.

He just gave Facebook a big Corporate Welfare Kiss on the Ass, with the help of a lot of Creative Accounting by his IRS lackeys. Just like he did for Google. Just like he does with his Union Scumbags. Just like he does for that other Scumbag, down in Cornhole State. You know him. He's the Obama Buddy that's making MILLION$, hauling all that Oil from Cananda, down to the Gulf on His Trains, because "The Magic Negro" (Hat Tip - LA Times) keeps refusing to let a Pipeline, and the Thousands of Jobs it will create, be built.

That's why he's President $9 an hour, now.

It's 2013, in Obama's Amerika.

The only jobs left, are Minimum Wage Jobs.

What a piker Obama is.

There should be no governmental limit placed on the minimum wage. Make it where people set their own wages. You get hired, you get whatever wage you demand. Who needs Obama as a piker go-between keeping it at $9 ???

The sky’s the limit!

Obama never ran so much as a lemonade stand. This know-it-all know nothing should just propose opening up the floodgates, then stand by out of the way while workers take away from the employers whatever they want. As insane as that sounds, it makes more sense than having Obama SET the wages at a certain amount when he knows absolutely nothing about any of it.

He makes a great DEMAGOGUE, and that’s the end of the story, right there.

from the current $7.25 per hour to $9 per hour

The Republicans should double this. Push for $18 an hour and call the Democrats heartless, and cruel and uncaring for expecting poor people to survive on a measly $9 an hour.

Meanwhile, Republicans should work to find business leaders who will testify of massive employment and bankruptcy problems that will result from such a ridiculous minimum wage.
If the Democrats "compromise" with something like $10 a hour, the Republicans should turn on a dime, halve that, and insist that $5 an hour is plenty and note that business leaders simply cannot keep people employed with a minimum wage that is too high.

When the media says that Republicans are "all over the place" on this issue, the Republicans should observe that, "Yes, but the whole concept of politicians telling businesses what to pay is completely arbitrary, isn't it? How can government make that determination? We say $18. We say $5. It's all kind of a crap shoot isn't it? Maybe business people should decide that stuff based on their knowledge, and not us politicians based on our attempt to buy votes."

What would the minimum wage need to be to pay off the national debt?

Even at the low end of wages fed takes a bite of each dollar.

Someone needs to point out that government doesn’t produce anything. If you look at the economy as a poker game with risk takers, winners and losers the money goes to the risk takers and the winners. Except government rakes out of every pot. The money they take out is then spent very inefficiently, even putatively. When the risk takers and winners start sitting out of the game then the economy slows down. Then to try to cover up for the slow down the government prints money which further keeps the risk takers out of the game.

Obama wants to take one more step toward the real leftist goal which is a guaranteed minimum income for all - no work required.
