Another in a typical string of home invasion stories, where the accomplices get away.
The only solution is high capacity magazines.
( Just to make sure I beat some liberal to the punch)
Maybe the intruder wanted to commit “suicide-by-homeowner” and had there not been a gun in the residence, then a life would have been saved...oh what warm and loving thoughts.
Of course I’m being sarcastic — BIG TIME — glad there’s a story of a private home owner that was armed and able to defend his property and family!
One less thug the citizens of Texas will have to feed, house, clothe and provide legal representation for in the coming decades.
When someone breaks into an occupied home like that they don’t intend to leave the family alive. Too bad the kid didn’t kill all three.
What, he didn’t call 911???
A young man protects his family in a time of dire peril in TEXAS, and is (I love it) CREDITED for his action.
In how much of this country would the state governor, the town/city mayor, the media and the anti-gun ownership zealots be demanding his prosecution, trial and incarceration?
I think Texas should set up a monetary fund to reimburse the family defender for the cost of the bullet(s) actually expended in the defense of home and family.
Probably around $30.00 or $40.00 should cover it.
...and so another gun-related killing, as seen by the media.
A whistle would have been just as good . . . . .
Wow, real close to where I used to live. Brings it home.
