Ok, I am coming out for a tax surcharge on all purchases of the NY Times, for the children and safer streets.

Since “the media” now is driving and setting policy in this country, I’d love to see everyone in the “media” taxed at very high rates. “The media” is now orchestrating and deciding who wins elections. “The media”, not the people, should pay for the government that it is creating.

I call for a 50% tax on all profits (if they ever have any) newspapers earn from ‘reporting the news’. After all, they are reporting about something someone else did (i.e. ‘they didn’t build that’). Why should they profit off the actions of others, without paying back their ‘fair share’ into the system.
