Cussing is neither nice nor do the site rules look kindly upon it.

That is true.

Also true. Compared to the Depression and WWII, it’s not so much.

And then again, if you asked someone who’s Gen X/Y, he’d say that the GI Generation raised the most self-entitled people in history. In fact, if you asked your 90 yo Uncle Jim who fought at Anzio, he’d probably agree too.
Hence the saying “Why do children and grandparents get along so well? They have a common enemy.”
