GOV. BOBBY JINDAL (R-LOUISIANA): My recommendation to the president is it's time to stop campaigning. It is time to actually do the job here in Washington D.C. In our second term, for example, last year, we passed one of the most sweeping educational reform laws in the country, giving real choice to our kids, putting right teachers in the classroom. We're forming our tenure laws, letting the dollars follow the child.
This year, like my colleague, we're proposing tax, significant tax reform. We've got different ideas about that. We're trying to get rid of the income tax in Louisiana. My advice to the President's stop the campaigning, stop sending out your cabinet secretaries to scare the American people. Roll up your sleeves and do the hard work of governing. I'm for closing those loopholes, by the way. Let's use those revenues to lower tax rates so we can grow the economy so we don't have the world's highest corporate income tax rates.

Nice but we need to hear this from McConnell & Boehner. Every. Single. Day.
Good luck with that, bobby.
That's a big problem for the laziest, no talent bastard ever elected (stolen) president (present) in history.
That's just a fact!
Fear is all that Barry and his ‘RATS have to offer. Communism never has been a big seller. You have to scare the hell out of the low information types to get them to hide behind your skirts.
Seems like we're getting lazy.
Oops.
Sorry about that-
Jindal rocks.
And yes, he was right about the Republicans needing to expand.
We are RIGHT on the issues, we have to market ourselves better.
I know Karl Rove is raked over the coals here...but from what I understand, he just wants to avoid gaffemasters like Todd Akin and that guy in Indiana....there is NO REASON WHATSOEVER Indiana should have a Democrat senator, and there is NO REASON Claire the Dumbass, Tax-Dodging Claire McCaskill should have gotten re-elected. But both are in office now, PRIMARILY because of weak candidates on our side. Rove wants stronger candidates, and we should too.
The B-stard is shouting “Fire!” in a crowded theater and it is not on fire.
Call him on it.
I remember the lefties calling this “TRUTH TO POWER”.
Jindal, like so many others, lack the guts and courage to call him out for being a socialist.
That statement is a perfect example of why we conservatives lose to the scum buckets on the left. The man stands up in public and CRITICIZES Obama for not doing his job, but for some, he "lacks guts and courage".
Seems that every time one of the few real patriots in government stands up and spits in the eye of the beast, some on our side feel the need to join the left in tearing them down.
If my granddad were here today, he'd look at that and say, "You're doing it wrong, genius."
Sorry genius....but if you can’t call call out evil by its’ name, YOU are gutless and just playing childish word games.
We are at war with communists and if you can’t deal with that reality, then get the hell out if the way for patriots who can!
btw, Jindal’s just another RINO ala Rubio, etc...
I'm sure that Bobby Jindal calls Obama quite a few choice names in private, but he's a Governor, and has to choose his words carefully in public. He's a lot more frank than most Republican Governors, which has made him an irritant to the Boy King for a very long time. I find that quite refreshing.
I'll take his brand of Republican over Chris Christie's all day long.
Ahhhh, another moderate takes off his mask.
"Moderate"? That's rich. I've been here long enough for folks to know where I stand. Apparently, you've never noticed, but that's fine. Check my posting history to see how "moderate" I am.
As to Bobby Jindal failing to live up to your foaming-at-the-mouth, hair-on-fire standards, well, I tried to explain it to you. I like to see some fire in the belly of our Republican leaders too, but they can't go as far as you and I can. It's just a fact of life. Get used to it.
