GOLDEN, Colo. — The Department of Energy allows its employees to use government phones and computers to access personal social media accounts while on the job, setting the stage for a staffer who threatened murder against Watchdog’s Colorado office while at work.

Meanwhile, NASA which has a rich history of demonstrated pay-backs, has been effectively killed. No Federal Employee at NASA makes near this kind of dough - even though they have the track record of delivering the goods.

I used to scoff at the NREL facility with a buddy of mine while driving past it in Golden as a hothouse for cushy government jobs in the early nineties. Never thought my musings would come to such dramatic fruition.
