What was that last transmission, Mission Control (beep)? Ill have you know I trained to lead this (beep) mission for 19 months, and I am the most competent Apollo Mission Lead ever launched. (Beep) Ive led numerous simulated landings on lunar surfaces, and (beep) successfully touched down on over 300 different surface conditions. I’m well-trained in (beep) repairing telemetry arrays via in-vehicle or extra-vehicular spacewalks. I am the most accurate at (beep) dead-reckoning my position in space with only a pocket calculator. Ah, Mission Control, you are nothing but some ground-based technical assistants to (beep) my needs. I’ll have your help whether or not you wish to offer it.You think you can hide behind (beep) a brief radio-silence? Think again. I’ve already contacted members of Congress and they are forming exploratory committees to find out why there were three ten-minute telemetry failures. (beep) If only you had thought about this before you had done it, Houston, but you couldnt, you didnt, and now youll pay for it. Ill release empty fuel containers on (beep) you, and you will drown in them. End of transmission, kid.
