Today a Genoa-Kingston Middle School student’s parent is claiming that a teacher ordered his son to cover his US Marine themed t-shirt or be suspended. Dan McIntyre says that his son Michael has wore the shirt to school many times in the past and that he is a big fan of the branch of the US military.
Dan McIntyre says that, “A teacher noticed the guns on the shirt.” He went on to say that the teacher said there was a school policy against the image of a gun.
Michael complied when the teacher asked him to turn the shirt inside out. However, Dan says that his son was still reported to the schools principal.
Dan says that his son, “was really bothered by it. He talked to me after school about it. I said I would have supported whatever decision he made.”

I personally think it has to do with the notion that guns cannot be shown in a positive light or the message guns=evil gets muddled. Its why they don’t want armed guards in school or cc. The little darlings might start associating guns with freedom or safety!
Okay. Headline is incorrect. It was not a MARINE t-Shirt but one with pictures of guns on it. While that would not be an issue with me it is in the schools and is not what the headline indicated.
In the “tri-cities” area in Eastern Washington State one high schools nickname is the Bombers (Hanford is close where the plutonium was mfv for the 2nd bomb that ended WWll) with a mushroom cloud as a symbol! ;)
Well, absolutely that is the reason. No doubt about it. Remember when they went after Joe the Camel? This is no different. Gun depictions are treated like swastikas.
Kids need to get more creative, and lampoon these idiots. Get shirts with battle scenes, Dirty Harry, etc. where everyone is holding a "censored" sign. Or a sign that reads "gun". See if the text is also too much for the idiots.
We seriously need to encourage a youth rebellion in this country against the PC propoganda they are getting fed. I really think there is a great untapped urge by boys to be boys and for all these kids to rip off their shackles.

They don’t care about “offensive” when they encourage 11 year olds to rut like paid whores.
Government is god. We must obey. That is the lesson children learn in today’s government schools. They are being programmed to serve the government and take orders.
Is the “free” baby-sitting worth it?

Public education needs a good cleaning-out. Start with the teachers’ unions.
One might want to check the web for this “school policy”.
One elementary school and a state university in Colorado have been caught altering their web sites after they were caught lying on what was contained on the web. (Figures, libs cannot tell the truth...since they are libs.)
This makes me want to be the CEO of a multi-billion dollar organization. On our web site contain at the very top - posted in letters big enough for liberals to read:
“NO PUBLIC SCHOOL GRADUATES NEED APPLY”
It’s not a ‘no gun t-shirt’ policy - it’s a “no gun images” policy.
Do they prohibit the Massachusetts quarter?
Does that include pictures in history books?
You know they are going to eventually call the Founding Fathers terrorists and the War of Independence the perfidious act of evil White men. Those that disagree will lose their jobs and become ostracized like modern "racists".

In 1952, I got a package in the mail. It was a t-shirt that said “My Uncle Is A U.S. Marine.” I wore that t-shirt to my Catholic school until I outgrew it, and if the nuns didn’t like it, they kept quiet about it. Uncle Tom was a career Marine.
