Supporters of same-sex marriage hope for a boost this week when dozens of high-profile Republicans, many no longer in office, submit their legal argument to the Supreme Court on why gays and lesbians should be allowed to wed, bucking their party's platform in a move that one who had a change of heart on the issue said would strengthen our nation as a whole.
More than 80 Republicans have signed the brief to be filed in the case of Proposition 8, a California law banning same-sex marriage, according to the American Foundation for Equal Rights, which is waging the legal battle against the law. The nations high court will hear arguments in the case in late March.

Nope. All those votes for gay supporting Mitt didn’t send any message to the GOP at all. Nope. Not a one.
I looked at the article and, as I expected, it’s the usual suspects. Meg Whitman, Christie Whitman, handlers from the McCain and Romney campaigns. What a surprise!
Well, they’d better support polygamy too, pandering hypocrites.
When a Republican Governor who campaigned as being more pro-homosexual than Ted Kennedy, and who supported and campaigned on homosexualizing the military and Boy Scouts for at least the last 20 years, and who as Governor gave America ‘gay marriage’, is made the GOP Presidential candidate for 2012,then how is this “inconceivable”?
My goat is looking awfully sexy today.. LOL
Republican Losers
Marriage should be none of their business.
It would really screw up their marriage-destruction plans if religious people just got married in the Church and dispensed with registering with the government.

Freaking sicko.
Now a sheep in heels and fishnets....that’s different!
One problem with pretending that a gay couple can have a marriage is that they are inconceivable in the sense of incapable of performing the fundamental act that consummates a marriage and forms the center about which a family is formed.
This thread is taking a baa-aa-aad turn...
The inevitable fate of a nation, or a political party, that would claim an equal “right” to do what is wholly unnatural and morally wrong, but that won’t provide equal protection for the supreme right, the right to live, of its most helpless, innocent posterity, is predictable, but not pretty.
Sure it’s getting a bit wolly ans posters may end up on the lam, but in Obama’s America, the love between eve and I is a normal, healthy thing....
EWE and I (her name is Eve though...)
GOP now stands for “Gay Old Party.”
Fear not! I was assured feet would be held to the fire so this isn’t really happening. Why just this am 2 posters called me names for suggesting the GOP has caved on several issues lately.
would strengthen our nation as a whole.
DUMBASS....
Homosex destroys everything it touches........
Not all people are religious, Islam is a religion and they are polygamous, Mormonism is a religion, Homosexual religions are religions, anything and everything can be a religion.
I don’t want Sharia law to tell me what marriage is and to dictate divorce law and custody rights, and division of property and assets, or decide who is considered married for the military and federal employees, etc.
