Why should the vet offer his services for free? Not saying that it wouldn’t be nice, but do you work for free?
I thought it was a little more tactful than saying the dog should have been put down as a puppy rather than left on the street..........

I’ve done a lot of artwork for breed rescue for free.
I paid for the materials, did the work and shipped it out on my own dime.
[and 30 4” slate tiles with bas relief dog sculptures on them ain’t cheap to ship]
So, yeah...some people do “good deeds” for free..and then some.
