Anyone who does not own a Ruger 10/22 is not fully/properly armed.

Excellent.
I guess I have double standards. I have called for other gun related businesses to leave their home states based on new laws or pending legislation and to stop all sales to government and citizens wanting their products.
I chalk this up to a liberal climate that has always existing in some states. I think CO is getting blindsided by this one. Probably too many immigrates from CA.

I just found some 410 ammo at Walmart (during one of my rare visits there) at
FIFTEEN DOLLARS FOR A BOX OF 25!!!, I don't know what prices are like elsewhere but for Kansas that is pretty damn steep!
I remember when I was a young lad, back in 2009 I could find the same box for like 6 bucks. O.M.G!

10/22s are still hard to find except those $400+ BSA models. I can also recommend the Henry Lever action and Spee-D-Loader.

I was talking to a guy who just spent north of $100 for a box of 1600 rounds of .22. Not so long ago, I would buy the “milk carton” of 400 rounds for $8.
I’m glad I reload centerfire cartridges. ...although I’m worried about the availability of primers.

Yeah Ruger 10/22 one of best and most used firearms that I own.
I am thinking about buying one there tactical model 1230’s (if I can find one).

until we do relocateHope they are seriously thinking about moving to Texas. Bringing new meaning to GTT (Gone to Texas).
To: KC_Lion
Well, it all depends on what you bought. There is a big price difference for birdshot, buckshot and slugs.

Everyone should own a .22. A former co worker of mine, who owned about every kind of rifle, pistol and shot gun known to man, once told me that he was going to buy a b.b. gun, I asked him why and he said, "you never know when you might need one".

You could go to a .22 magnum, but I would get a regular .22 if you don’t have one now. You will use it.

Before that happens, and Magpul is forced to leave the state in order to keep to our principles, we will be doing our... best to get standard capacity PMAGs into the hands of any Colorado resident that wants them. And I was going to call their customer service to do just that. Make Colorado a priority. ;-)

It was simple target shot.
And that was the ONLY type they had, they only had like 5 boxes and it's the only 410 Ammo I have been able to buy for 7 weeks.
It's crazy.
I noticed walmarts gun racks were exactly like Cabelas, empty except for really expensive turkey guns and a 7mm Rifle or something.

Don't sleep on this. Since they just announce their intentions no biggie. :-)
...Give them a few days to reconfigure their website. If the bad law passes, they can legally sell in Colorado up to July 1st.
To: familyop
Ping to Magpul thread. :-)
To: KC_Lion
That price is about right then.

The silliness of all this just struck me.
If Colorado passes a law restricting magazine capacity, are they going to set up roadblocks at the Wyoming (and other)state lines to keep Coloradoans from importing large capacity magazines? Will they actually undertake inspections?

Good luck FINDING that cheap .22lr...
Last Thurs. a.m. I spent almost an hour, in 20 degree weather, waiting outside, in a line waiting for Gander Mtn. to open.
They have always been the best around here for bulk ammo purchases.
There were 20+ people in front of me, and 40 or more behind me.
When they opened at 9 (the clerk told me a week b4 they recived ammo on Wed. stocked it that night)
When they opened, people RAN into that store straight to the ammo shelves.
Some grabbed baskets, and just swept the ammo off the shelves (.22 and .223)
They didnt even check the price.
This in a town beside the biggest army base in N.C....
