And really....anyone who DIDN'T know this has got their head stuck somewhere dark and smelly.
Then again....is a lawsuit really going to help change things?

If you watered down Budweiser, how the hell would anyone know?

Exactly! How anyone can stomach this 'sex in a canoe' is beyond me.
There are so many REAL beers out there...
guess its for the 'on-one-helluva-budget' beer drinkers.

If they think Budweiser is so bad, they should have tried the Hamm’s(tm) brand back when it was about. You can easily tell why the Hamm’s advertisements always referred to “From the land of Sparkling Water” in their jingle. Hamm’s literally is coloured water -and even blindfolded you can taste the difference.

A: You wouldn’t, if they called it Coors.
In reality, if I buy beer, it is from a micro-brewery like Burning River or Great Lakes or an import like Molson. I don’t drink enough beer to buy the watery Mega Brews like Budweiser and Miller.

Someone drank a couple of twelve packs and didn’t get drunk enough? Distillers water down whiskey too.

Spoken like a beer snob. We’re in a recession and don’t judge people on what they eat or drink. If it tastes great for other people so be it. My attitude is if you get buzzed, then it’s alright. Then again, it reminds me of my time in Singapore, Japan and Manila and the kids thought drinking Bud was cool and ‘elite” for them. Of course, I just smiled (snicker)

It’s kind of why I don’t drink it in the first place.
If you thought it was watered down why would you keep buying it and drinking it?!?!

Isn’t there a little thermometer like thing-e that tells you specific gravity and you can use that to determine alcohol content or something?
It’s Bud, what do they expect?

I seem to remember that jingle going: ‘From the land of sky blue waters’. I might be wrong about that tho, My old mellon is about gone! Anyone else remember it?

I've never like any A-B beers (can barely tolerate Busch), except for O'Douls, preferable the dark, and obviously, I can't complain about the alcohol content...
I think the highest ABV I've had probably was a Chimay while on a ski vacation in Switzerland.

Have you tried Griesedieck Beer? It’s not as bad as it tastes...if you’re really, really thirsty.

I stopped drinking Crudweiser the minute I could afford anything else (Lost Coast Brewery/Lagunitas etc). But never looked at them again when I emailed them during the recall of Gray Davis and asked why they gave $50k to save a guy that was running the state into the ground. PR chick told me it was their right to do so and that maybe I should find another choice in beverages. I sure did.

Not a snob, just now learning that variety is the spice when it comes to the (seems like) hundreds of micro-breweries out there now.
There are at least 5 different micro's within a dozen miles of my house!
Not that I'm a 'gourmet' or any judge, but I mostly drink beer while eating,
and find that some beers go better with diff. foods. Havent drunk beer for the buzz in a long time.
The buzz is had with the rum, tequila, etc...

Hmmm. You could be right. Maybe it was the way we would mis-sing it at times that I am remembering instead. Granted, it was quite a few years back...

Hamm's wasn't that bad compared to say, Utica Club, Schmidt's, or Stroh's.
I'll even throw in PBR, Schaeffer, and the reformulated Schiltz.
To: count-your-change
I dunno. Having been forced to drink nothing but Guinness at one time I have some difficulty thinking much could be worse at this point.

Ever tried “Lucky Lager”(tm)? Had an aftertaste like the green slime on the side of rivers smelled like. Didn’t taste all that well either.
