Todd Starnes of Fox News radio reports that Texas State Sen. Dan Patrick, chairman of the senate education committee, is launching an investigation, after outraged parents provided photographic evidence that their Lumberton (Texas) High School children were required to don burqas (and other Muslim garb), as part of an ostensible "geography lesson" on Islam.
Moreover, students, as part of this unabashed Islamophilic indoctrination process at Lumberton High School, were told by their teacher, "we're going to change the way we perceive Islam," who then also proceeded to instruct them to compose an essay, according to the report, "based on a Washington Post story that blamed Egypt's troubles on democracy - instead of the Muslim Brotherhood."
Such involuntary Islamic dawa in school must be thoroughly investigated, condemned, and permanently disallowed.
I suggest as an adjunct "corrective," that it also be required of the Lamberton High School teacher of this geography class, and recommended for the students, to read Mark Steyn's caustic analysis of the murderous Muslim rioting in Nigeria during November, 2002, in advance of the Miss World beauty pageant (prompted by an article in the Lagos newspaper "This Day," which suggested Islam's prophet Muhammad would have been happy to marry one of the contestants). The teacher should be further required, and the students encouraged (with parental accompaniment, given the R-rated language) to watch this video of Steyn's hilarious performance of "My Sharia Amour" (London, Ontario, November 1, 2010).

I keep a stack of two-ply Korans for emergency shortages, kinda like its a part of my hurricane survival kit...
For these districts and teachers to go out on a limb like this and get caught doing this, tells me they are not doing their jobs, much less teaching what really needs to be learned, not indoctrinated into these kids these days...
I would seriously ask them to fire these folks involved with this nonsense and start teaching like they are supposed to be doing...

I have only seen a true burka once at the Houston Medical Center but I see women wearing the traditional muslim head scarves almost every day. If the women are not so dense that they cannot read facial expressions, they know what I am thinking.

My thoughts exactly, especially since one assumes that he is not just shooting from the hip as we have to do here. Hard to imagine a person proofreading his own comments yet letting that one get out.

Good idea. Perhaps the teacher could also have the boys beat and rape the girls, too. Yipes! Maybe we shouldn’t be giving them ideas.
See that lady sitting on the bench over there...or that man at the cafe? Go ahead and leave your toddler - grade schooler with them for a few hours. What? You don't even know either of them?
It's the same thing we're doing with our kids when they go to public schools. We don't really know (usually...I know there are exceptions) the people we're leaving our kids with for HOURS, EACH DAY. We don't know their belief system, their backgrounds, etc. And, now we're not even privy to the curriculum being taught (CSCOPE). Why would you leave your kids with a stranger?

Excellent question.
Most people have been conditioned to leave their kids with the very strange strangers in the government school collective, even while they would never do so with a random stranger.
Christians are getting pretty rare in education, they have values and morals that are inconsistent with the eduction goals of the New World Order.
This C-Scope stuff has been in schools for years and all we do is yada, yada, yada. Nothing will be done because parents truly believe that although education is a total mess, the schools their kids go to are great.

I saw the superintendent on fox and he set off my gaydar...and he approves of little girls in burquas. Wonder iif that class also taught about honor killings, genital mutilations and the execution of homosexuals?
Where are the womens rights groups? ......
