an official Congressional Golf Game would be more appropriate
Obviously, more important things on his Honey-Do list. Is there not a Golf outing there? Dang, hes got it tough!
Boner has already caved,he said he was going back to regular order and was not going to negotiate one on one with the fascist in the White Hut.
Obumbo is just going to come out of the meeting and say those Republicans just want to serve the rich and dump on the middle class. How many times are these jerks going to be suckered by the traitor in the White Hut
This just in from the CBO, see below. Looks like all this sequestering and fiscal cliffing is “taxing” our poor CBO. I guess the Sequester will just have to be a tad larger to accommodate all this number crunching:
“CBO requests appropriations of $45.7 million for fiscal year 2014. That amount represents an increase of $1.6 million, or 3.7 percent, from the $44.1 million (on an annualized basis) provided to CBO under the continuing resolution for fiscal year 2013.
“The increase would enable CBO to support 235 full-time-equivalent positions (FTEs), which would be roughly 7 percent less than the 254 FTEs funded in 2010 and in line with the FTEs funded between 2004 and 2008. The increase also would enable the agency to catch up on critical purchases of information technology and other items that are being deferred this year.
“The proposed budget represents the amount that CBO believes will be necessary to avoid a further reduction in the information and analysis that the agency provides to the Congress.”
Sounds like another opportunity to bash Republicans.
The worst Pres__ent has had 18 months to prepare for this day, but, rather than do his job, dumBO thinks reading a speech is all he has to do. ZerO thinks he can do better as a dictator, fortunately, he doesn’t seem to be any better at that than as POSOTUS.
A grandstand play. He will denounce the GOP failure to cave in if that is what happens.
The GOP leadership should say it is too little too late for him to try to show leadership on Friday.
On the other hand, it there is some grand bargain in the works that he wants to announce, the GOP will still take it on the chin in his announcement.
This guy doesn’t give a —— about the country, just about his Dem political agenda.
Likely its a meeting with Majority and Minority leaders and probably staff.
What Boehner meant was he will not negotiate one-on-one on large policy deals like he did before.
