In response to Donna Brazile: Why did my health care premiums go up? :
I understand her disappointment considering the president made some rather incredible predictions when he was campaigning for "what critics call" Obamacare :

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
it would be funny if it weren’t so scary. They (Democrats) really are this stoopid
Own it, libtards!
It’s the Republican’s fault.
It is unbelievable that anyone believed that.
Kind of like how the shovel ready panned out.
Some consolation, but many of us can say “I told you so”.
Cash-only medicine, baby. It’s the only way to go in the future.
In our Ministry of Truth world nothing a liberal says matters immediately after it is spoken. It is important only in that instance and then vanishes. You can’t hold them accountable for anything based on their previous lies since those lies simply no longer exist.
Still trying to figure out how a bill can be decreased by more than 100%.
This clown’s IQ may be in the lower 10%.
My premiums actually did go down a little. Not a huge amount, but I admit it was a welcome change in contrast to their rapid growth the past decade.
...she absolutely knows, but is too much of a lunatic Democrat groupie to admit it.
God, when will this madness stop?
But how are your benefits?
I’m afraid to look. I know for a short time one of the big local hospitals refused to take the BlueCross I have, so I know there’s some pressure in the bad direction.
We all knew she was a bimbo, but evidently her “coefficient of bimboness” was much higher than we suspected.
Further proof that math is most definitely not a friend of progressives.
Official Response: If we didn’t pass the Affordable HealthCare Act, premiums would have gone 4000% higher than what they are now. So we achieved what we set out to do. Your gratitude will be noted and taxed.
Look at how she phrased it:
The insurance company raised her premiums for NO REASON.
It’s the insurance company’s fault.
As Obamacare takes full effect, the cost to insurance companies, particularly to assume the risk of insuring those with pre-existing conditions, will have to be passed on to the insureds in one firm or another. Premiums will rise, benefits will decrease and/or there will be higher deductibles and co-pays.
Whatever happens, it won’t be pretty.
Look for huge premium rebate cheques in your mailbox. If you were paying $500/month, you should expect to receive $14,500/month + free health insurance. It’ll all be paid for from the huge profits the wind power industry is “generating”. You probably missed out on the “new math” in school.
Well, Donna, your Savior lied to you — big time.

LOL - many lies yet to be uncovered...
Not Pittsburgh, but I’m afraid we’re going to see more situations like you describe in the brave new world of Obamacare.
